After my feeble showing of only two wibbling sessions last week, I have to wibble tonight to make this week's three sessions and counting.

I failed to wibble on Wednesday, but I did last night. Can I make it four for the week by getting one in tonight?

It's time to revive the Wibble thread!

What's your current wibbling program?

I've been totally failing to establish a regular wibbling habit at home, so I've at last rejoined the gym at work. Yesterday I was in there setting up my program for the next month with one of the trainers and from Wednesday, I start in earnest.

I'll be going three times a week (M,W,F) at 4pm, which means I'm now coming in to work at 8am to let me get out sharper. Good thing I've been working on my sleeping pattern the last couple of months and am now getting up at 6am every day! Which if you'd told me at the start of the year, I'd have laughed at you.

I'll be working my way back up to 45 minutes cardio, increasing the intensity. And some weights and abs work for toning. Once I'm a bit fitter again I'll maybe add in a spin class once a week. Love spinning.

So come on, ladies. If you've been slacking, this is the ideal moment - middle of the year - to renew your goals and resolutions. You know it makes sense.

I respect anyone who loves spinning! I loathe it.

I am trying to re-establish my regular gym visits. I aim to go 5 days a week and find that there is then a good chance that I actually get there 3 times. This week it looks as if I may actually make it there every day....

Anyway today was an aerobic class and yesterday was Body Pump.

Thanks for getting us back up and running with our wibble thread JFM.

. . . oh alright then

Actually I've been doing far better than before and seem far more commited to exercise. I gym 3 times a week and do weights and the trampette at home.
I went to the gym last night and did 3km cycle really fast then fat burn, hill walking for 2.25km.
I like the gym best on a Saturday or Sunday morning as it's so quiet, I can read a paper and go up a hill!! I'm waiting for a pedometer that I've bought from ebay because I want to challenge myself to do so many steps per week . . . Not sure how many but the recommended 10,000 per day would be, 70,000 divided by 3 = 23,333 per each gym visit . . . hmmmmm is that possible?

I haven't really posted about it because I tend to blow it when I promise to do things.

Good for you Junk . . .

Wibbling day today for me. I have my gear in my bag, just waiting to hit the gym at 4pm. Heck, lugging that damn backpack with my gym stuff, and my lunch and all the other crap I carry, counts as exercise, especially with how warm it is today! Just add a rifle to carry too and I'd have felt like I was doing SAS Selection.

Of course when I say I love Spinning, I mostly love the effect. During the actual class I'm watching the clock and wondering if I'll make it to the end without dropping dead.

Body Pump is one I don't like. I've tried to, but my coordination is rubbish. I have to stop and think when told to turn left or right. And I'll probably still go the wrong one.

I did a half a Body Pump class once, as an intro, and could barely walk for days! Not for me that one.

I took a few days off from exercising and my back started playing up again . Back to the grindstone . Actually, I do yoga, and I really enjoy it, but sometimes rebel and think I can take a break. I cant!

45 minute step class today and I did pretty well with the choreography this time. I will admit it does help to be co-ordinated but I don't know my right from my left, just follow the crowd!

Look after your backs ladies.

Well, I suppose I'd better get off the computer and do some exercise, too. With my back, it's not that it seizes up, but if I don't make the muscles work quite hard on a regular basis they relax too much, and it all gets unstable. If I exercise, I can "manage" the problem most of the time, but it doesn't really go away .
