I feel better for going to curves. It is hot today but I think towards the end of the week it will be in the 80's.

Shhhhh don't tell anyone...I don't want to give it up yet. I am trying to think of something good to put in there.

I was at Curves today. I enjoyed it a lot. It was 100 in the shade today and it will be the same tomorrow. I hope it cools off soon.

i been a good firl and been to my club 3times this week already.. thats 30mins uphill walking on treadmill with dumbells and 30-40 lengths..

am sat here with smug hat on lol

I am very lucky, I was complaining of having no time but I am getting to the gym at least 4 times a week at present, often doing two classes back to back.

Results? What are they? If you mean is my body shouting "What the F... is going on?" then yes, but I still look like I am wearing my big sister's skin and have had a weight problem and 2 babies.

Fully dressed and from the back I suppose it looks pretty good for 60.

I just wish it got easier!

aaah kissa wouldnt it be nice to have nice smooth taut skinned bodies but like u say having had babies been overweight etc it just aint gonna happen... still if we look good dressed its only our hubbies have to suffer when we aint lol

but kissa the thing u do have is a youthful face and complexion if we could all have that how happy we would be

out of curiosity what was everyones heaviest weight??... mine as u prob al know was 262lbs 18st 10lb and i am 5 5ish

Kissa - know what you mean and I don't have a big sister all mine are little ones The arms are the worst although I'm getting close to not caring (much)

Shy - my heaviest was larger than the 220lbs or 15st 10lbs in my avatar but that's what I weighed the day I started DANDR. I bought clothes for my graduation in 2005 and when we arrived in London they didn't fit, I had comfort eaten for the whole of the UK in 4 days, I had gone up at least a dress size from the 18's I took with me . . . even my boots didn't fit properly!! I had been happy plump until then but that day was the catalyst for me, from then I tried to lose weight at first eating low calorie but always felt hungry, then I tried ready meals and fruit but still felt hungry. I had a friend years ago that had tried Atkins, she lost huge amounts of weight and although she didn't keep it off I could see that it wasn't all about bacon and eggs I read the book, it made perfect sense and got started, been here ever since!!

Bit of a ramble there but what the hey, in for a penny!!

Awww thanks Shy. I guess I am pretty lucky really... and the facelift 5 years ago helped!

I think was about 184, 13 stone, though Vicky says she thinks it was more. I am 5' 3". I did years of yo yo dieting, this is the first time I have really kept it off. Exercise is the key for me, it gives me a high that sees me through the day.

oh gawd lou yeah the arms.. even my little un bats them ughhh.. mind u they are better then they used ot be

kissa.. u look great on it and exercise definitely tightens things god knows what i would look like without it lol.... i am not sure how many hours i have done i do roughtly an hour every time i go which this week has been 4 times..oooh i am such a goody goody lol

my highest dress size was i think either 24/26 when i was 18st10...lost loads with slimmin world but got bored with it so started gaining again.. aunt suggested atkins and read the book and the rest is history.. as kissa says this is the only thing i have maintained with

lou u must be nearly at goal now weightwise?

Remembered my fennel tea tastes gooooood!

Atkins is the only thing that I'm not constantly hungry with, I don't feel like I'm denying myself anything. isn't it great when you find something that suits you

Wish I was at goal but I seem to be fluctuating between 11st 10lb and 12st 2lbs that is my pattern of weight loss though, I'll be stuck here for months then drop 10lbs then be stuck there. I have my moments of doubt but I'm quite happy where I am (my avatar stats are accurate this morning) I'd like to be maybe 4lbs down from where I am now so that I have the leeway for water retention but apart from that I feel great . . . my trousers fit!! Funny thing the other night we had a small chinese for dinner, much, much smaller than usual, I felt full after so I did the usual and undid my trousers, it didn't make an ounce of difference it was my skin that was tight!! Time to make an effort before the christmas do and the cameras come out!!

I know Shy, what's with the arm skin?

I am moving more but it's hard . . . I need to make it a habit. I have another appointment on Friday with my PT and I'm going tomorrow night after work. I prefer going on the weekend because I can go for a couple of hours and do a full circuit, plus I like to go in the turkish bath, it was really nice last night with the menthol . . . it was hot!!
