Any Austrailians in here?

Anybody from the area around Frederickton?

My mom moved to austrailia two years ago with her hubby. She just came out here to visit and cried alot about how lonely she is out there. I kept telling her to find a group to get involved with. She says there arent any. So I am looking for some people in her area that she can get together with. Something like a "tuesday morning coffee group for stay at home wives" Or a "photography club"

If anybody is in that area please let me know!

Hi sorry but don't think I'm from anywhere near Frederickton - we're in Brisbane, Queensland.

In some of the smaller communities it can be hard to find 'groups' - but they are probably there - just got to find them. Or start one herself - and drop flyers in to the neighbourhood - put one up at the local grocery store. They don't have to meet in her place - could be in a park, at the local coffee shop or at the library or something - would advise not on her own to begin with either.

Hope she finds what she is looking for.
