2007 Annual Pigroast...... anyone interested?

I am not sure I will be planning it this year... we have talked about it but so many people are iffy on going this year. Sooooooooooooo we might need to skip it till next year... but before I make a final decision on me getting it together (unless someone else wants to plan it that is) I wanted to get a count of how many people would be interested in going. This will help in the decision on having it. It is a long trip for a lot of us so we want to make sure it is a big turn out... not that meeting just one of you wouldn't be worth it but its just a lot of fun when you have a ton of peeps there... I usually plan prizes and help get people into their cabins and all of that... so we want to have a lot of people come...

Please post letting me know if you would be interested in coming... if so...it would probably be end of May early June. Again... if someone else wants to plan something even in another area that would be fine too... I just have people wanting me to get going and get this party started!!

I've never been to one myself. But from what I have read, in the past few years its been at Pigeon Forge, TN. It's usually a weekend long....people arrving friday leaving on Sunday....

You could come the whole weekend or any part of it... the main gathering is on Saturday afternoon.. we do it in the park and have lots of food (everyone brings something), volleyball and prizes.

I would LOVE to...I was so disapointed that I couldn't make it last year, but Memorial Day weekend and the 2 weeks before are totally out for me.
Sometime in June may work though...

It looks like it might be postponed till next year... as far as me planning it... but anyone that wants to plan a gathering are more then welcome too! You can plan it whereever and whenever you like. There are just so many people that usually go that are not able too this time.

If anyone else has any other ideas feel free to let me know..

I will do some checking on doing it in the fall... it really is a fun trip and everyone has a blast. If anyone else wants to plan it they can also.. but if you want me to get it going I am always happy to start the arrangements.

The fall is always extremely busy for me with school starting. It is hard to get away. The summer is much easier to get away, because my son will typically spend a few weeks with his dad. So, I may be out anyway, because I won't know what to do with my DS while I come play with you all.
