My daughter and her husband + five kids will be moving to Birmingham in June. She and I both are lo carbers. I usually stay in INdiana in the summer months to sell canoes and kayaks and go to be with the other grandchildren in later October for the whole winter. I let my diet go this winter. I had been down to 192, my lowest weight in ten years just before I came to Mayland in October. Now I am 215 this morning. I have trouble being around the grandkids when they eat all the yummy stuff I've avoided for 6 months. I'm an empathetic eater. I eat when other people are eating, I want what other people want. Ever go into a restaraunt with friends and not be able to decide on your meal cause you know when yours gets there it won't be what you want, you'll want the other person's dinner. Yep, that's me. That's empathy.
So anyhow, I'll be in Birmingham in October. Maybe we can chat on line in the meantime. I'm not on any particular lo carb plan, been doing this for twenty years. Most recently my doctor advised I go lo carb due to cholesterol levels. That was two yrs ago.

Gotta go, kids are looking for me.
