Orlando gathering Date

We are trying to see pick a Date to meet in Orlando so everyone put Dates that you are available so we can get the best time that works for everyone.

I'm available most days of the week and weekend cause I stay at home with my daughter. However it would be nice if I didn't have to bring her with so something in the evening or on a weekend would work best for me. Other than that I'm pretty flexible. Oh, it takes me about an hour and a half to get to Orlando from where I am.

Come on everyone! Let's pick a date and just do this!!!! I'm anxious to meet you all and make some new friends, but I can't if we can't even pick a date!

OK how about a Saturday evening? The Saturday dates for October are.....

10-7
10-14
10-21
10-28

Which one is best for you?? As for me, right now I could make any of them. I guess we'll just have to pick the one with the majority of people available. Hopefully everyone that would like to come will be able to agree!

I think we talked about meeting around 4 to 4:30PM, so that we could get there before the dinner rush time. How does that sound to everyone???

Please let's really try to get this planned and get er done!

I'm all for any of the Saturday's. I've never met anyone that I've talked to on a message board so this is exciting! I'll keep checking over here until we have set a date.

Hey, I'm still around. I'm not too sure about this month now. I found out my MIL has colon cancer and is in the hospital. They live near Boca Raton and dh and I are going to visit either this weekend or next. Also my parents are moving down from Atlanta and will be staying with us while they look for a place. They will be coming sometime this month.

If a date is set, I will try hard to make it because I really would like to meet all of you! I'll keep checking the thread, but if I miss something please someone PM me. Thanks!

I'd love to see a lot of people there. Please try to plan on attending. It's 3 weeks away. Just put it on your calender and plan on it!

Pam which Golden Corral are you talking about? I know you said lake Buena Vista but I do not see one listed there. I see two in Kissimmee plus the one on Sand Lake Rd at I drive

Hey Jann! It's the one listed as 8707 Vineland Ave. Orlando. It's right at 535 just off of I-4. Right by Lake Buena Vista. It's the closest one to you in the Orlando area, I think. If there is a better one for you, it's no problem. I'll drive to any of them! I'm just excited we're going to get to do this finally!!!

The map looks a bit confusing but it's right along 535. You just have to turn at a light and go into it from behind. If we go early it will be light out and easy to see.

If you go to the Golden Corral site and put in Orlando FL locations, you can pull up a map. Like I said, it looks confusing but in reality it's not really.
There's also a phone number there if any one needed to call for more directions.

I have a question with the 28th being a Day that a lot of People will be having Halloween Parties would the first Saturday in November work better? Come on everyone speak up.

Next Saturday it will be. Come h*ll or high water as they say!

My wedding anniversary is Nov. 3rd, and my husband has to work that day. He wanted to celebrate it on Nov. 4th, which is the date we're going to have our get together. I put him "on hold" so to speak, until the next weekend. I'm changing my plans to do this, so PLEASE everyone, make an extra effort to make it on Nov. 4th!!! I'm sure it will be a fun time!

So are we doing this on Nov. 4th???? I think if we meet about 3:30PM, we can still get the lunch price. It's about $2 less per person. If I'm not too busy at work tomorrow, I'll make a call to make sure! How does that sound to everyone?

OK........ so how many of you are planning to come?? If I have an idea of how many, I can ask them if they still have that room available so that we can be sort of partitioned off from the other people. Less noisy and easier for us all to visit!
