Anyone from Seattle? I'm at 320 and would like to get 125-130 (again). I'm interested in chatting, emailing, and meeting in person with someone who is local. I live in Capitol Hill, work downtown, but you don't have to be that local, just near enough. I have another online person I chat with frequently, but she lives out of state. I thought a local connection might be good. There is something about having to be accountable to another person in the 3D world that makes a difference.

I thought it would be a great idea to have a regular meeting with another person (or very small group). Depending on where you live/work, either once a week, several times a week, every few weeks, monthly; whatever schedule we can work out. I'm not interested in OA meetings, but like the idea of meeting with someone. This won't involve constant telephone calls all day when I have a craving like 12 step programs. I work and I assume you work too and want to keep your job.

In case it matters: I'm 43, female, single, no kids, work on computers all day and sometimes late into the night. Buy Dr. Phil books but don't read them.

You can be male or female. I'm not looking for a romantic relationship, just accountability.

Thanks for replying. Yeah, I'm pretty happy with my neighborhood. I have the last cheap apartment in Seattle and it's a beautiful area.
