*~*~*For Those Who Live In Colorado Springs!*~*~*

Would you like to plan a get together? I still have another week of unpacking and visiting with my mom. So would you like to plan something in a week or two? What day is good for you? What time? And where would you like to meet? I am so flexible. Just make sure it's somewhere easy for me to find... since I've already gotten myself lost 100's of times within just days of being here. Let's plan something because I honestly have looked forward to nothing more than meeting you all!!!!!!

Well I'll be busy May 13th till 6pm. All day May 20th, and I'll be gone May 28th to June 2nd. Any other time is good for me! We could plan to meet somewhere on Powers. There is a lot there, and it's easy to find from where you are.

thank Anna! We'll definitely stay in touch and meet up when we go. Maybe I'll make the boys stay at the camp and I stay at the your luxury apartment. Seems fair to me.

It was JUST what I needed Susan! I truly feel like the past is behind me and I'm making a brand new start... this time I trust myself more to make much better decisions/choices!

I knew you would be! I'm sure there were times you thought "when will this girl get it together?" I know I thought that myself!

I will for sure post pics as soon as I get my place in order, I'm still unpacking!

Nah, not at all. We all go through tough times - IMO, how long we stay under isn't as important as how we pull ourselves through and ultimately gain strength from the experience. You deserve a nice life change, enjoy it.

That is a great opinion and something I'll always remember! I always beat myself up over how long it takes for me to get through a rough time and be able to move on... but at least I get through it and become better because of the experience, that is what I should focus on... instead of being embarrassed that it takes me longer than most. Love you, and hope all is well with you too!

No, no, Never! Never! How are you?!

Anna, don't be embarassed because you think it takes you longer than most to get through a rough spot in life. Hell, I'm crawling through my own process and I get frustrated too but there really is no timeline.

You made some very positive changes for yourself and you'll continue to gain momentum from that.

Would love to....for those who have kids, who would like to do a zoo outing? School will be out so soon and then it is back to taking my kids everywhere...we are going to busy and gone most of the month of June though....just so much going on.

I am sitting here loving this thunder storm and all the rain we are getting...we were just at the zoo and it started pouring on us....but we got to see the new wallabies, the new zebras and the baby gorilla. It was a good day for the zoo, the animals were so active. BTW, if we do a zoo thing, I have 4 kids listed on my membership so I can get 2 peoples kids in free if you don't memberships.

20 years ago my sister was living in Colorado Springs and I had just gotten out of college with a teaching degree. I thought it would be great to live there, but I had to get my teaching certificate for Colorado. Well, after taking and passing the test, I decided I couldn't leave New England, so I didn't move!
I'm glad you're happy. You deserve it!

Meh. It's kind of a tough month but I've done it before so I'm trying to remember that. Thanks for asking Ann [/threadjack]

you're so right! We all are so different, we have to be patient and really do what feels right... it's important not to rush through things but take them one step at a time. I've really learned that on my trip here... it could have been so stressful... but it wasn't because I kept reminding myself to take one step at a time. Same with life learning experiences I think... you can avoid too much stress by just taking it slow. Susan you've faced A LOT, I'm so glad you are giving yourself lots of time to heal!!!!!!!!!

Purplesage - I'm up for anything.... it would be fun to involve the kids so they can get to know eachother too.

MommyMo - thank you so much!

I'm spending the summer in C Springs and would love to meet you guys.

And if anyone likes to hike, please let me know. I'd love to find somebody interested in taking a few hikes (easy to moderate).

I totally forgot that my son won't be here until June 15th!

But I still don't mind hanging with other people's kids.... so it's totally up to you all as to what you want to do.
