JULY 4TH MIDWEST GATHERING...

O.K. my lowcarbfriends......
I am really trying to organize a summer gathering for us for july.....
It would be really nice for us to meet each other,we spend so much time online so it would be nice to spend an afternoon together.
I am trying to narrow down the locations...
So far I can only think of
1- The taste of chicago on the 4th of july..If you all don't know what that is you must google it but basically it's like all of the major restaurant's get together in grant park and all the hungry people spend the day sampling all the glorious food,and their is live entertainment and fireworks.But some of us might have trouble staying away from all the goodies.......
2-Indiana has miller beach which is fun and kids have a good time there with the ferris wheel,there is also a camping ground there for anyone who drives in so that they don't have to get a hotel if they don't drive back the same day.

This is all that I can think of now..But I am trying to plan something that everyone can afford,a safe place,easy to drive to,and in a good location.
If someone wants to help me plan..please do so...and if anyone has any suggestions for locations please let me know.....open to all....

What would be great would be the world's biggest lowcarb barbeque......Then we could all just bring things to grill and set up activities for the kids...I could get some of you in a sack potatoe race......Someone help me plan this..
