How about a cruise?

I went to the Tennessee gathering last summer and had a blast! Those folks sure like to party down! So I was thinking, what about a gathering on a cruise ship? They treat you like royalty and they have vegas style shows, hot tubs and pools, a workout room, movies, live bands, disco bars, piano bars, comedians, games, a casino, dress up dinners, causal dinners, etc...And no one drinks and drives...

This cruise is a GREAT value! I have done a few and it is not hard to stick to low carb--there is plenty of food and all included in the price. We have already booked this cruise.

7 nights
Carnival Elation
Leaving from Miami Florida on September 9th, 2006
Cost: $495 per person or ocean view for $615 per person. That includes all charges and is the bottom line.
Ports of call: San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Martin.

They also have airfare packages too.

If you want to book this cruise, do it now because the rates will go sky high--often raised DAILY. You must put down $250 deposit per person and you can make payments until June 19th.

Contact Carnival Cruise at 1-800-438-6744 Ext. 81151 Speak to Wendy. Or, you can book this thru Carnivalcruise.com.

So...Who's in?

Just a thought, but if more planning was put into this and someone actually contacted one of the cruise lines I know for a fact you can get screaming good discounts on large groups. Not that the price your paying is not great!

What a fun idea. I am a newbie but there are already several people on here I would love to meet in person.

Have a blast on your cruise.

I spoke with some of the reds in chat and no one has planned a TN gathering for next year. I don't know if they will or not bbut I sure hope so because I plan to attend that as well.

Well, it would be a good idea to get the cruise line to give a large cruise discount but judging from the response to the cruise I don't know how "large" the group would be... So far it is just me...
