Anybody in the Chicago area?

HI: i am starting low carb today and i will be moving to Cicero ( Il) at the end of the month. I am looking for a support group in the area . If there is not a support group created already i am looking for people interested in having one. We all need helo thru thi ( specially me).

I'm from Morton Grove (northern suburb). The low carb store near me in Wilmette is going to be starting a support group in the near future. Not sure how far that would be for you, though.

Welcome to Chicagoland. I say Chicagoland not Chicago because from just over the border north into Wisconsin, to just over the border SE into Indiana - we all call the city HOME.

I'm in NWI. I'd love to attend a group with some low carb friends. Thur and Fri are best for me.

I did Atkins before and lost 18 in about 2 months. Now I've just started again (you see I did not make it a lifelong eating approach)

My fiancee definately needs to lose weight for his health (diabetes) and I figure all the nagging in the world won't help only by EXAMPLE to I stand a chance of him losing any.

I have as much as 100 pounds to lose though at my age if I lost the first 70 I'd be happy as a lark
