HI Jane, I am also looking for low carbers from las vegas and lo and behold I found you! I have been doing Atkins since April of this year and have lost 37 lbs so far. I love this way of life and would love to get a group of low carbers together for friendship and support. I am 45 yrs old and a military mom of 2 living near the air base. Hi, Rita and Barbie. I'll try again to contact Rita2. She's not on this board. Met her when I was having my nails done. If we can't find her again soon, we can include her when she gets in touch? Where do you two want to meet? What's convenient for you? I know Rita1 lives by Nellis and Barbie lives over close to Summerlin. I also live close to Summerlin but my office is at about Jones and Decatur. Got any suggestions?

Viva Las Vegas.... one of my favorite towns!!! My Mom lives there, and just loves it.
I'm assuming you guys know about the Better Nutrition stores there, right? There are 10 of them and they specialize in lowcarb goods. (including mine :-) The one on Rampart even has a lowcarb cafe.
Check 'em out!!!

Hi, Flaxie! Thanks for the headsup to everyone on Better Nutrition Low Carb Stores in Vegas. Love 'em. We can find almost any low carb product that is on the web and they order what they don't have. They are wonderful. The Low Carb Cafe has protein shakes that taste like ice cream and come in a ton of flavors. Haven't tried the other stuff yet.

HI all! Flaxie, I love the Better Nutrition stores too! I haven't seen the Grams Gourmet things yet, but will sure look for them! I have alot of low carb friends who rave about Gram's granola! Mmmm, Jane, those shakes sound sinfully delicious! I am back on the induction diet again. I just don't seem to be losing since I up'd my carbs. Crossing my finger this will make the scale drop! As for where to meet for lunch, how about IHOP or Applebee's on Craig Road? That is sort of in between us isn't it? Or anything in that area. Just a thought. Let me know what you all decide. I hope you find Rita2 soon! Have a wonderful low carb day! Rita1 * LOL*

Hi, I'm coming to Vegas 10/29 for a vacation. Are there any Better Nutrition stores around the "strip" area? I've been to Vegas serveral times b/4, but have never noticed/looked for these stores. I'd like to check them out and possible bring some good "stuff" home to Maine with me. I think we're going to go to Red Rock Canyon this trip. Any stores in that area that you know of? Thanks for your help.

Let's see....
There are two chains in Vegas that carry our stuff.... one is the Better Nutrition chain and one is Health Express. Both have a large selection of lowcarb foods. If you PM me I can get the locations of all these stores for you. I would post their websites, but I believe that's against the rules here?
