Hi Everyone ... I guess we left off having decided on a meet on February 13 for an "early" lunch at Smokey Bones in Nashua NH (on the border so to speak ). Folks who were plannig on coming: Pidevil, gonnabskinny, Slimdays, and Tada!

Anyone else????

I went to Building 19 today in Burlington MA and wanted to let you all know that they had a lot of the Atkins bread mixes for $1.26 a box -- thought it might be of interest to some of the folks with bread machines. I can't seem to do any wheat products - even lc ones, so boohoo for me, lol!!! I do recall there is a building 19 in Nashua too - I think it's like exit 6 ?

Hi everyone,

I am planning on coming on the 13th provided the weather holds out. I am a chicken when it snows.

Yesterday was weigh in day, and I lost 3 lbs in January. Any weight loss in the wintertime is a huge success for me since I didn't do a lick of exercise at the gym or walking. I isolated a lot due to the snow and ice. As the days get longer and warmer, I will get out there.

Food is good and in its place. Nothing changes in that regard no matter what the scale says. I like the consistency of the portions, it is one area of my life I can count on staying the same.

Hope you all have a nice day.

Good morning all,

I am back..back to Atkins...as of January actually, and I'm back to this board for support. I am down 11 lbs for the month which doesn't seem like much compared to induction I did before but I was religious about calorie counting for the first month and still only 11 lbs.

I am desperately looking for breakfast suggestions. I'm all egged out right now but breakfast has to be easy for me to prepare and eat at my desk at work. I just this week started eating Pria bars with 2g net impact carbs but my urinalysis strips show that I am no longer in 'ketosis' so I'm guessing those are bad?!

Any advice and/or help would be greatly appreciated!

Jules

Welcome back Jules!

I like to have pancakes (made with Carbquik) or cereal once in a while. I like some of those new Atkins cereals or Grams Gourmet Flax Nut Crunchies.

A mock danish is also a good breakfast alternative as well as those new LC yougurts.

Thanks for the reminder about Grams Flax & Nut! I ended up ordering two bags off of ebay because I couldn't find them anywhere else. Has that product gone off the market?

I asked Gram herself and she said the product will be reformulated and will return. They used to sell it on Netrition.

Aww, I wish I could, but I have to work on Sunday They're changing the scheduling system so everything's all messed up. I'll have to aim for the next meeting...Gotta go do some errands, so I'll catch everyone later....

Hi all!!

I cannot believe it is feb 12 already I still have not asked my dh to watch the kids for the day- oops.

I don't expect a problem with DH- so plan on me being there.

It would be best if we met at 11:30 , I will need to be home around 3 so I can help my kids make their valentines for school.

See everyone tomorrow (I hope)

Jane

I will see you guys tomorrow. I will come whenever you say, but may bring part of my lunch, because I don't want to eat at 11:30. It is too early for me. But I want to visit with you all.

See ya!

Hi guys - busy day today - just called smokey bones - they open at 11:00. I just found out they are actually officially in Tyngsboro, MA!!! LOL!! My only thinking for meeting at 11:30 is that we will get there and seated and our order in before the noontime rush.

MaryMary - I imagine the earliest our food could possibly get to the table would be like 11:45 and that would be if we got seated immediately and all knew what we wanted to order, lol!!! I am guessing we will actually eat around 12 noon. But it is a good idea to bring alternate arrangements since I know how dedicated you are on your Greysheet plan!

What do you all think? I'll vote for 11:30 since it works better for Jane who I think travels some distance to get there ... I can actually do either time. I will be meeting Palegirl (Rebekah) on the way and we'll drive up together and we need to set a time to meet etc.

Excited to see everyone!!

Pauline

p.s. Mary I am getting together some stuff to bring for you tomorrow - I'll finally give up the size 12 hiphugger jeans that are falling off of me, lol!!! The size 12s will be the smallest I part with though - I am in 10s and some 8s currently.

Hiya Gals

I have some stuff up for grabs. Everything has been laundered There's a bag of size 18-20 and a bag of size 22-24. (my smaller sizes are already spoken for). It is varied stuff, lol! I think both bags have some pullover sweaters and I recall some workout gear in the size 22-24 bag. I am hoping someone will want each and can just pass on or send to goodwill whatever they don't want or doesn't fit.

Also, some other items I am bringing and hoping someone can use:

Size 7.5 W (will fit a size 8, I think) Nice Black patent leather heels - worn only maybe 2-3 times when I went to black tie occasions.

A cubic Zirconia ring that is too big for me - probably a size 6 or 7 I have also a larger one but can't seem to find it - lol! I'll keep looking!

OK - weird item, but these were expensive! and I'd love for them to get a good home!!! Two brand-name bodyshapers with a wire bra cup in size 40DD. One is white and one is off-white.

I guess anything that doesn't get a home will go to goodwill unless someone wants me to hold onto them until another meet.

LMK!!

Pauline, I am a 40DD and could use the bras. I would love to look at the sweaters. Most of my clothes are 18s or so, but hope to get into 16s soon. I am a 14-16 on top and a little larger on the bottom.
