Gathering for VA/DC/NC & surrounding areas?????

I wanted to see how everyone in these areas feel about organizing a low carb gathering. Nothing too fancy, just pick a mutual area to meet and get to know fello low-carbers and also get tips and hear stories of others journeys. If you are interested, post here or pm me.

I was thinking the Richmond or close to DC. I dont mind the drive, maybe some of the folks that are interested that live in NC could carpool, etc. I'm fine w/ whatever.

I would love to meet. I am about 30 mins outside of Richmond, 50 minutes from Fredericksburg. The only catch is that I work alomst every weekend night. There are a couple of Sundays at the end of Sept that I would be free.

Hi All,

I'm trying to get a support group together in the Durham NC area. ..it can meet anywhere in the Triangle depending on where most members live. I was thinking of meeting every other week on Wednesday evening about 6:00 or 6:30 pm for a weigh in and short mutual pep talk about
our successes, failures, etc. It won't be a major time consumer. If we can stay on track maybe we could get in and out by 7:30 pm.

I'm doing Atkins but am very open to other low carb style diets.

At the present the group is only me but with just one or two of you joining. . .well that would mean a growth factor of 300%. . .wow!!!
