Ok I'm a lil slow but hey....slow is good sometimes First of all....many thanks to Julie and Terry, you did a GREAT job putting together the gathering. I think it's safe to say that we all had a wonderful time....some of us more than others...not mentioning any names...**cough**julie**cough **cough**mimi**...It is always so hard for me to put into words how I feel coming together with everyone....inspirational, emotional, moving, motivating, spiritual(in a wierd kinda way if u omit the liquor) This site has given me so much more than a new way of eating, a new way of life and a new me......it has given me friends for life.....some I had known prior to this weekend and new ones that I made this weekend....To those I didnt get to talk to much or even at all..I appologize....I'm really a VERY social person....SHADDUP FATCAT and Girliefriend....gurl u remind me WAYYYYYYYY too much of me.....we are delightful are we not Hope to see everyone soon and MiMi...hun I hope you have grown a new stomach lining since you left the old one in Alton Cheri we are roomies for life gurl...I LOVE YOU Pami I'm soooo glad you lied to me and Dano....I still want my dayum tonsils back

This is a little late getting to the boards, but like most things in life...better late than never! Kinda like me arriving at the gathering in Alton.

First I must thank Julie and Terry for organizing this wonderful day. Everything seemed to cooperate, even the weather! You guys did a great job...thank you very much!

It's been said before, but I can't stress enough just how moving these gatherings can be. Motivational, inspirational...there's nothing like meeting a group of people that understand from where you came and to where you're headed, and understand the struggles you go through to get there. Listening to everybody's stories, and watching the joy cross their faces as they talk of their own personal growth, touches your very soul.

These are people that understand what you mean and won't laugh at you when you ask them to remind you to *suck it in* before a picture is taken...well okay...they won't laugh at you too hard anyway.
