Hi everyone!! I hope you guys don't mind me starting a new thread ... I just invited some folks to join us and didn;t want to send them to the May thread ...

Mary and Mainer -- How was Smokey Bones? D'jya guys have fun?

I just got a flyer at Curves for a bakery in Wakefield with all kinds of baked goods, cheesecake, lc pizza, crustless pizza ... well, lol! left the flyer in the car, but I will post the info and website a little later.

Just checking in for June. Not sure I can do a meet this month. On 2 week ends I will be in Ft. Lauderdale on vacation! Nothing to do but cross stitch, read and watch the waves come in. On another Saturday, I have a wedding shower. Jeesh! I'm still hovering, lose a pound or two, and it comes back but staying the course. Just bought an exercise ball to add to my repertoire. Hope it will help the abs. I hate exercising on the floor but on the ball....we'll see. How is everyone else doing?

I was at the Chili's restaurant site and saw some things that we could eat . I know there's one in Portsmouth ,manchester and Salem NH I think the one in Portsmouth is only open for dinner but I'll call them. Any body know about any of the brothers

Hi Pauline and Marion,

We had a nice lunch at SmokyBones. Rootbeer and her husband, and Mainer and his wife were there. My DH couldn't make it. We talked for 3 hours.

Yesterday was weigh in day and I lost 6 lbs in May. I was happy with the results. All this weighing & measuring is paying off one day at a time.

I am going to the Senior Senior Prom at the Nashua YMCA this Saturday. For $5.00 a ticket, they have a cold buffet, door prizes, corsages & photos, along with a band and dancing, as well as voting on a king & queen. It is a hoot for us over 55 crowd. I'll post the picture next week.

Hi Folx:

I just want to get in on the June postings so I know what is going on.

My Mom has had another fall and has a fractured pelvis. She is on bedrest. My hubby says: "Isn't that what she is on anyway?"

I have been to my summer place but with all this rain I haven't been there very much. Yet I know summer will come all at once and we will be sweating.

Good to see everyone doing so well. I have nothing to report, yet.

Hi everyone,

We went to the YMCA Senior "Senior" Prom in Nashua last night. It was so much fun. Below is our picture. They gave us corsages and had a healthy appetizer bar, door prizes and we elected a king and queen. We danced to all the big band music, and 50's as well as the mellow singers like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. It was soooo much fun. Can't wait to go next year. And the tickets were only $6.00 each. If anyone here wants to come next year first Saturday in June, let me know. There were lots of people older than our 56 and 57 years, dancing to the hully gully, twist and jitterbug and jazz. Some ladies and men in their 80's going at it on the dance floor. It keeps me young and with them as my role model, I want to grow old dancing.

Yikes! June is tough for me!!

I am free:

Saturdays: June 26

Sundays: June 13, June 27

It looks like I will not be able to make anything in July ... We are going to Virginia Beach, Then I will be back and forth to CT, and then I am having an operation in Boston on July 19th (hysterectomy) and won't be allowed to drive for a week ...

Mary Mary! What a great photo! I love the hair!!!! You are looking so slim!!! I'm glad you had such a nice time - I know you were looking forward to it!!

Slim! I am so sorry to hear about your mom!!!!!! I hope she is on her way to recovery now!!

Welcome, Lyn! We usually get together about once a month for lunch (sometimes breakfast) and its usually North of Boston up to southern NH. I believe wheat lives somewhere on south shore, perhaps you could ride together.

Does anyone want to do something on Sunday the 27th? Breakfast or lunch. It looks like both Mary, Tada & I are free that day. Anyone else available?

Would love to, but that is DH's birthday and I have the day plannned with him and the 3 kidlets
