Hi from Syracuse!

Hey there! I'm from Syracuse, new to this board and this WOE pretty much! Not that I hadn't tried it years ago, but this is the first serious attempt at at in many years. Glad to see some other Upstaters in here!

Ah, Massena! The town I get lost in! LOL I went to school at St. Lawrence and every time I'd go shopping in Massena - and it NEVER failed - I got lost trying to find my way back. LOL! I still don't think I have it figured out!

I'm about 4 hours south now.

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and I'm from northern New York. I live in a little town called DeKalb Junction. One hour north of Watertown and an hour south of Massena.
How are all of you doing?
Do you have any local groups where you meet or anything?
Susie

Yes, our town has some Amish people. It is a small place isn't it? Doesn't take you long to drive through for sure.

Hi Brenda,
Aw yes the wax on snow and the cheese curd. Love it. We have a local cheese shop run by an Amish family. We can get it fresh, fresh, fresh.

LOL meemee! No, and Syracuse doesn't either (where I live) but I choose to call us all Upstate New Yorkers - which New York city people think is any one beyond Albany!

Hi,
I was just a half hour from Ithaca today.
We went to meet up with some internet friends that I have been emailing for over 2 and 1/2 years in Cortland and our son lives in Homer.
I'd say that is considered upstate somewhat.

I grew up in Syracuse. Went to Bishop Ludden H.S. I sure do miss the beautiful mountains and finger lakes. My dad used to work in the Massena area. He was a pipe fitter.

Greetings to all!
