Keene, NH - May get-together

Hello everyone ~

We're planning a get-together in Keene, NH, on Sunday, May 23, at 1:00 for lunch. Depending on how many people will be coming will decide whether we go to Family Ties or Bickfords. Both have a low-carb menu.

Me & Jean, Mary & Ed, Mur & dh, idreamoflean, and gonnabskinny.

I'm going to call Sharon (gonnab) tonight to see if she can make the arrangements at Family Ties. I'll let you know what happens there.

Anyone else interested in joining us?

I just talked to Sharon. Family Ties is CLOSED on Sundays.

So, our choices now are: Bickfords, 99, or Unos. Any preferences?

I went to the 99 a few weeks ago. It was pretty good. So I have no preference.

I have never been to any one of those. I suppose if I had to choose I would say the 99, though any of them are really ok with me. I can only stay an hour and a half or so ( my sister and her 2 young kids are staying with us for the weekend)

ok, let's do the 99. 1:00. They don't take reservations I don't think, but I'll go early and get in line for a reservation.

I think we've got 8 people, slight possibility of 9.

Everybody know where the 99 Restaurant is?

Hi Mary ~

Ok, you know where we met at Bickford's? You go straight across the street into the WalMart parking lot. If you come up Route 9, turn right onto Winchester Street, (you've just driven by the 99 on Route 9). (you'll see Bickford's ahead on the left) Take the first right, at Dunkin Donuts, and it's the next building. Very easy to find.

Hi everyone. I am really looking forward to Sunday. I am still a definite; DH is now a maybe depending on the weather Saturday. He has got to do some yard work between the raindrops. If he can’t get it done he will have to stay home Sunday and do it.

We were actually in Keene last Saturday, so I know right where I’m going.
