Maryland gathering for Brewer

Brewer is coming to visit! Lets have a girl's night out in the inner harbor.

She will be here sunday, monday and tuesday next week. (may 9-12th) I am working sunday night, so monday or tuesday would be better for me. (wed she is leaving) we can make it an early night for those who have to work the next day.

I will e-mail all the folks whose e-mail I have since its such short notice.

I don't think I'll be able to make it, roro. I will be returning from a trip on Monday and I'm not so sure about Tuesday. It will be my first full day back after being gone several days. Sorry!

While I would love to but I'm already tied up both Monday and Tuesday evenings next week. I could be available early on Sunday for brunch if your not working at that time Roro.

Hey, roro, I might be able to come. I think Monday would be best for me ... I have the day off from work ... playing a golf tournament, but should be done with that by early afternoon. I'd love to meet Brewer! We're doing Inner Harbor, right? -- like Hard Rock or ESPN Zone? Maybe we'll luck out on the weather and be able to be outside. Just let me know when/where.

Looks I will have to miss out after all. I was just assigned a briefing for a very early meeting Wednesday morning and I don't like to go out the night before these big meetings.

Well, I am sorry to say I have to cancel my trip out. Our VP of Engineering just resigned and his last day is the Friday after we'd get back, leaving only three days to sort through things and bring me up to speed. I am also a manager and report directly to him - my responsibilities will increase after he leaves and they want me to cancel our conference.

Thanks SO much for trying to set all this up, you guys - I'm extremely bummed because it would have been fun to finally meet some fellow LCF-ers. If you guys all get together, anyway, I hope you have a total blast.

I'm about 15 miles west of Milwaukee (Sussex)...a mere hour away from you! In fact, DH and I are in the Madison area maybe three or four times a year (Great Taste of the Midwest, caping in Mirror Lake, the Dells....).

Too bad things didn't work out with going out East, I've met roro several times, LindaJ, Patty N and Tez too. Good people! You would have had a good time.

I know - that's what gets me. I love to hear about LCFers getting together and hanging out...putting the name with the face. And I'm sick about the reason why, too, because the VP who is leaving is well-respected. Kind of everyone's touchstone.
