Gathering at my house, near Baltimore

I would like to have a gathering at my house. I am in Columbia, near Baltimore. I have been wanting to do this for a long time now, but my house was such a mess, being remodelled. Here are the dates I have available:

Jan 10,11
Feb 7,8, 28, 29

If your interested, let me know which date would be best.

I can do Jan. 10 or 11 (although probably short notice to get a crowd together) or Feb. 27, 28. Feb. 7-8 I'll be gone.

Hope this works out! We can do LC potluck!

Feb. 28 works best for me (my preference is for a Saturday vs. Sunday). Possibly Feb. 7. I definitely cannot do this coming weekend.

I can do this weekend, Feb 7-8 or February 29, but I have a conflict on February 28 (the Saturday)....hope we can work this out! If you show off your house remodelling, I can show off my new body!

Any of the February dates look good to me. I just had an office birthday where my friends celebrated with two items from this website: Cinnamon Crispas and Pineapple Orange Jello Dessert. Both delicious. I look forward to sharing dishes and recipes.

Just give us time, directions, and what kind of dish you'd like us to bring. I needed something to get me back on track. This is it.

Should we make it early since monday is a work day for most of us? How about 2pm?

I am PM'ing everyone with directions from 95 and from 29. If you are coming from somewhere else, do a mapquest or PM me and I will get better directions.

Just post on here what you would like to bring, so we dont have doubles.

I am going to make ribs with my homemade SF BBQ sauce (with liquid splenda and atkins syrup, it has hunts tomato sauce, so no sugar)

stuffed pepperoncini, with a bacon, veggie, cream cheese stuffing

and lowcarb peanut butter truffles

I have wine and diet rite.

2pm is good for me. I think I'll be bringing African Chicken Stew. If that changes, I'll let you know ahead of time.

I know I'll bring toasted pecans (best of the nuts) since I get a fresh supply from Alabama each year. As for something else, I just ordered five new cookbooks so we'll see what develops. I'm really excited about this!

Well, good to hear there will be at least one person bringing their DH, so mine doesnt feel like the only male. Anyone else bringing DH???

I have a foosball table in my new finished rec room, maybe we can have a tournament for those who like to play

If theres anything else people like to drink, that might be an idea. If someone wants to bring diet rite, i only have about a six pack left (trying to stay away from it) and I will also make some iced tea and coffee.

Hi,

It looks like this party is really taking off. I plan on attending as long as the weather is reasonable. Since it's the end of February the worst snows should be over.

I'd like to either bring a pot of low carb chili or a cheesecake. I'll watch the thread to see what we need more of desserts or "food". Or if you have something else you'd like me to bring just ask. I'm flexable.

Glad this is after induction

My husband and I will be off induction and should be well on our way losing weight. We live in Laurel and 2pm is great for us on February 29th. It is leap year, we should have a party on this day! I will be bringing my husband, and I have not a clue what we will bring to share other than the cookbooks we have gotten some excellent recipes.

Would everyone please bring copies of the recipes of what they are sharing?

Induction again, flu threw me off the wagon this fall.

I think the 29th might work out for me. I usually work weekends but hubby will be away that weekend I think so I'll be home with my 12 year old son.
I'll bring chicken wings, wine, diet rite. what ever you want. Just need to check husbands schedule to be sure.
Thanks Roro for doing this at your home. I live in Olney which isn't far away.

I think I'll bring 2-bean salad. It's like the traditional 3-bean salad except the kidney beans will be omitted and it will be low carb, of course.

Tez's dip is awesome!
