Hey y'all!
I thought we were supposed to be planning a get-together for sometime in Oct. And seeing that we all didn't get a chance to go to the last one, I've decided to take it upon myself to invite you all to the next one. It will be the last Saturday in October(25th) or the first Saturday in Nov.(1st). It will be at either The Hard Rock Cafe, The Rain Forest Cafe or Nine Restaurant. We will meet between 7:00pm-7:30pm.

Anyone who is game, please sign up with either Oct. or Nov. AND your restaurant choice in your subject line. Also post any questions you may have in this thread so everyone may view the info!

Ps: Please get the word out to your other Chicago lc buddies!

I would like to go, either date is fine. I have no preference on location, but are all these restaurants downtown?

I prefer either Hard Rock Cafe or Nine Restaurant (not a big fan of Rain Forest).

Oh great!!! I am coming into Chicago and won't be able to meet any of you?

I am there from Friday- Monday (10/24-10/27). I doubt I can make that Saturday night meeting, but could do something Sunday the 26th IF anyone else could?

If not, no worries. Hope you have a great time and I promise to clean up after myself and leave your city the way it was when I arrived!

I don't think Hard Rock Cafe is that expensive Di. I think a meal is only about $10. I don't plan on going and ordering everything on the menu! This is about us meeting each other and not so much about the food. We just want to have fun and get to know one another without having to worry about whether there is anything available for us to eat. Wings and burgers is what I'm talkin' about! Keepin' it simple!

Dave, maybe you can make it out. I'm sure we will be there for several hours so if you can stop in a little later that would be great also. Sundays aren't good for me; family day. I don't know about the others. Hope you can make it out as well!

Let's see... I am not sure of the timing or the logistics, but my meeting is near O'Hare until 6ish. Then, we are "supposed" to have dinner afterwards.

Then, I have NO idea where these two spots are in conjunction with each other.

I figure 9ish-10ish? I have no clue.

I'd love to meet ya'all either Saturday night at a later time, or Sunday anytime. If any of ya are near O'Hare and want to meet after your get together, I'd love to do that also.

I totally understand if there can't be a connection.

Darn... I'm hunting this weekend and we have a dinner Gathering in Madison on the 1st of November. Chicago is just down the road from me so maybe next time you have a dinner I can make it.
