Inspiration and reminders

From the book:
Your journey to becoming Lean for Life will be different, because you will decide how far you want to go and how quickly you want to get there. You will learn how to get back on the path if you happen to lose your way. Along the way, remember these three things:
1. You're making this journey for yourself, but not by yourself....
2. You will accomplish your goal of better health and a better body, but not by doing the same things you've done in the past. You will learn to travel lighter, leaving behind the baggage of past dieting experiences and picking up new tools, strategies, and techniques.
3. You have the time you need to accomplish all you want. You're beginning a lifelong journey where quick fixes don't exist. Establishing new habits takes time. You can maintain your own pace as you work towards lasting change.

Stay in the present to relieve anxiety.

Motivation is what gets you started.
Habit is what keeps you going.

The difference between a goal and a dream is a deadline.

Hi MiniMeee. During your weight loss journey, did you ever have days when you gained a pound? If so, what did you do to combat it?

Noror...yes...it happens all the time depending on how much salt I eat I think. I just don't worry about it too much if I am doing everything I am supposed to. I think it is normal to go up and down. It also depends on when you weigh yourself and what clothes you have on. I try to weigh first thing in the morning, naked at roughly the same time. Hope that helps.

Thanks Minimeee. It does help. It's just that I have been sticking to the plan, always in moderate to large ketosis and this morning I was up one pound. I just couldn't understand. I almost wanted to give up but I know it's my head playing games. I'm doing a protein day today, hoping it will help.

Take twice as long to eat half as much.

Gluttony is an emotional escape, a sign something is eating us. What is eating you today?

The higher your energy level, the more efficient your body. The more efficient your body, the better you feel and the more you will use your talent to produce outstanding results.
