Things I didn't expect....

Hi all,

Now that I am approaching my goal weight, I have come across a few strange things that I didn't expect and thought we could all share our experiences here in this thread.
What I didn't expect when approaching my goal weight....
#1 The body scan evil "stink" eye from other women. What is up with this? Why can't people be happy for you? I have always admired women who are 50 and fit. How do they do it? Wish I could! Well, now I am one of THOSE women. How do you handle the stink eye from women?
#2 Lustful drooling stares from men. What the....?? Can they be more obvious? It makes me feel like I'm walking around the mall naked. I'm like super conservative too. Nothing too form fitting. Anyone come across this problem? How do you handle it? Scares the heck out of me, which is why I think I stayed heavy for so long.
#3 Saggy boobs. Thank goodness for good underwire bras. At least you can't tell in clothes. Not much I can do about it. Just scoop them up and hike the bra up higher.
#4 Strange chicken skin in weird places (like my inner thigh). I was so looking forward to wearing a bathing suit this summer and now I'm going to need one with a skirt to hide the chicken skin!!!!! What the????
#5 Cold all the time. Good thing about that is that I can wear turtle necks and sweaters now, doesn't seem to deter the drooling stares though.
#6 Saboteurs. Why do people want you to fail? Encourage you to cheat? I refuse. I have an iron will. Not really, but honestly, I would never do that to someone who had a goal and was doing really well with the weight loss battle.
There are probably more...but that is all I can think of right now.

Yes to all of the above. The attention from men is thrilling and scary at the same time. I think my husband likes it though.

Winkydink...I totally hear ya about the male attention. Scares the crap out of me. My husband does notice other men looking at me too. He said the other day "People are probably looking at me and saying, what is that old guy doing with that young chick". LOL Yeah right, young chick at 49!!! It is amazing how the body begins to look sexy in anything you wear as you shrink. Sometimes I will purposely wear something loose to work thinking that it is MORE conservative than other form fitting clothes, and one of the women will comment how sexy I look. I'm thinking, what the hell? I've noticed that when I do wear a form fitting shirt, the men I work with are oh so friendly though. LOL Most of the men I work with are very respectful and protective of me. Somehow at a smaller size they all feel I need protecting. Weird.
