Has anyone recently started up again of LFL?

Do you want to keep a conversation going here?

I have been lowcarbing on and off since January 1995. Lean for Life is by far the best plan and the easiest plan I have followed.

My first official weigh-in was yesterday. I'll be weighed on Tuesday mornings. I have about 30 pounds to lose and a lot of self esteem to gain.

I am glad to see a post here I was afraid they would close this thread down with such little activity

I agree - it is a fantastic program and I wish more would try it and stick to it -myself included  I just signed on here to post and it has been 6 1/2 yrs though I frequent this site often!

So - I would like to join you - I purchased a 10-wk online program and will start this weekend.

Oh yes - I turn 50 in Oct and would like to reach my goal by then - not sure how much that may be because I haven't been on a scale for about 6-7 months but will check this weekend and post that as well.

Please post as much as possible and I will do the same. And anyone else out there - please join us

2nd protein day

Im feeling very tired today, but Im continuing this.

Ate lots of ham today. Cottage cheese.

Bought some Atkins bars - they are very high in protein, and low in carbs and they were on sale. I will see how it goes

I had taken the month of December off. My program had ended and was in my 2 week maintenance when I stopped going into the clinic. Life got busy. Holidays. Sick.

I was able to buy another 10 week control program VERY cheap. I'm planning on starting up next week. Hubby has agreed to do it with me. he won't go into the clinic - I'll be his Lindora enforcer. That will definitely help me.

Hi FlowerPower, Scorpio, JQuintero, and Minimeee!

Sounds as if many of you are making amazing progress! Very inspiring!

Im trying to get into the rhythm of this plan once again, as I've been on and off for a while. So today I'm going to give it my all. Got to run down the market later to buy some salad fixings.

How's everyone doing on Lindora? I just finished my last week of my 2nd 10 week program. I am down 51 lbs and feeling great. I am 14 lbs from my goal. I'm 5'6" and started at 210 (size 18+) and am now 154 (size 8). I have people telling me to stop, but I want to be 140, which is pre-wedding, pre-babies (4) weight. I know my body is different now than that 22 year old (at 49 now) so the 140 size is just a guess. The weight I am comfortable at might be lower or might be higher. I just don't know yet. I started on the program Sept 2010 so the weight loss has been pretty quick. The thing that has surprised me the most is how your head (thinking) doesn't change as quickly as your body. Which is probably why most people gain the weight back I suppose. What I mean is, people keep telling me how good I look, and in my head, all I see is the jiggly parts. I don't see what they see. Have any of you had this issue with body image after weight loss?

Hi All.

I just started the program on Monday, and I'm very excited. I've done it before with success, but after get married a little over a year ago, I got happy and gained nearly all the weight I had lost. I have about 90 pounds to lose, and I want to do this so I can be as healthy as possible when we try to conceive at the end of this year.

I'm on day one on regular menu, having finished my 3 protein days already. I have a bright pink keto stick. I'll be doing the program on my own...I decided to spend the money the clinic-based program would have cost me on a personal trainer instead!

I'm so excited to finally be moving in the right direction. Good luck to all!

I have started again today and am doing it on my own. I lost weight on this program a few years ago and find it is one of the easiest plans to follow.

Hi everyone! So I'm starting week two of my program today. I weighed in with a 9.4 pound loss, hot-diggity-dog! Woo-hoo!

Today is protein day. I'm one protein snack in with 5-6 more to go.

I'm so excited to be getting back on track. Best of luck to anyone making the journey with me!

Im starting the lindora plan again at the end of the week. Im just waiting for my products to come in the mail. i did it before and lost close to 50 lbs, needless to say I gained it all back and lost all my gained self-esteem along with it. Im hoping to lose 50 lbs again hopefully by july. Im doing it on my own this time rather than spending all the money to go into the clinic.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check in. Today is day 12, doing well! No cheats yet, no craving. I've been in pretty heavy ketosis during this whole process, so that's really exciting.

I also started working out with a personal trainer this week, so my weight loss might stall because my body is in shock (believe me, it surprised me too!)

My weekly weigh-in is tomorrow. I'm very excited about seeing the results...and even if they aren't great, that bright pink keto stick tells me something good is happening, even if the numbers don't reflect it!

Onward and downward, friends!

Awesome job Cherrypye and Mizzoni!! You guys are doing awesome!!! I've hit the 55 lbs lost on Lindora. I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs now. Only 10 more lbs to go to my goal of 140. I'm keeping it there and never going back! I wore a skirt to work today (knee length) for the first time since 30 years ago. Feels strange and fun at the same time.

tarmfarm4, I like the atkins bars. They are low in carbs and taste great. My favorites are the peanut ones.

on lean for life

Hi all -
I am on day 5 of LFL. Bought the book from Amazon and doing it on my own. I am feeling good "less" already! I bought some bars from Rite Aide - love them because they seem like a treat. I don't have any kieto (sp?) strips so don't know if I am in kietosis. I am just realizing that the Lindora bars are going to make my carbs too high..... ) : Any suggestions for good bars with a low carb count? Thanks!
