On 7th day of Lindora - Question??

Hi! I am on my 7th day (I did 5 protein days and am on 2nd weight loss day). I started at 171 but have only dropped 2 lbs. I am following the program perfectly but my weight hasnt changed since Day 3. Is this normal? HELP??

I'm no expert, but if you are following the program perfectly why did you do 5 protein days? Isn't it 3 prep days, 3 protein days, and then menu?

Are your keto sticks showing color? What is your carb count? Can you post a sample regular menu day? I'm just thinking of those questions they would be asking me in the clinic.

Hi! Thanks for the reply.

Here is an example of a standard menu day:

Breakfast
1/2 nonfat yogurt
2/3 cup blackberries

Snack:
3 oz chicken

Lunch:
3 oz chicken
1 c cauliflower
2 c lettuce
1 tbs dressing (.5 carbs/22 calories)
1 tbs vinegar
1 c strawberries

Snack
1 oz fatfree cheese
1.5 oz chicken

Dinner:
2.5 oz tuna
1/2 c mushrooms
1/2 spinach
1/2 c cauliflower
2 c lettuce
1 tbs dressing (.5 carbs/22 calories)
2/3 c blueberries

Snack:
Atkins Bar (6 carbs/150 calories)

Looking over my journal my average carb count is around 60 and calories are around 1000.
Ketostix werent reading so i did a couple extra protein days. Im also working out 4-5 days a week. I started 13 days ago at 173 and am at 167 now. Ive gone down to 165 then to 166 then back to 165, then 167...

Once again no expert - just stuff I picked up by going in the clinic - one of the nurses has lost over 110+ lbs by being on program for the past 6 years and thanks to her I'm down over 30 lbs Since starting the middle of July .....so take this with a grain of salt...

The carb count for the above meal was 60+ carbs. I know in the clinic I'm told to keep MY carb count between 50 to 60. So I'd be restructuring to bring it down (I have to plan the night before).

Also - when I would do the 1/2 of this and 1/2 of that to equal 1 serving..it was HIGHLY recommended that I don't. So as boring as it is to only eat the 1 cup of cauliflower..I did it.

It was also suggested I cut out fruit as an option for breakfast. I only do grain/protein. I buy a whole grain bread that is only 7 carbs per slice.

I'd go for something with less carbs as your last meal/snack. I know on protein days I want those carbs decreasing. It is easier to burn them off during the day when you are awake. Even before Lindora my personal trainer suggested no carbs after 4pm.

One of your fruit choices during the day should be citrus (this is in the journal).

Also if your weight was staying right around the 166 range - you might have wanted to do a 3 day plateau/1 protein.

At any rate - how are you doing????
