Good Morning Everyone. I am at work right now. Just finished breakfast.

2 egg whites, two slices bacon, 1/4 cup of berries and melon, and a whole wheat pancake with no syrup. but I put a little butter on it. I am feeling guily.

I was up a bit today too. I had full fat dressing last night on my salad and a few bacon bits. But that's the only cheat I had. I'm sure it was higher sodium too. I've been good today and intend to stay that way. (keeping my fingers crossed that my intentions are good, lol)

Seminar was great.. the food.. well.. semiar food! oh well..
I packed an atkins bar.. and we had that for breakfast and snack
and for lunch it was Mex buffet.. so.. it was a challenge to pick and choose through it.
but we managed.
Lean burger patties for us tonight.. with ff cheese... lettuce.. tomato..
fruit.. orange
and hopefully that will be it for us today..enough damage done for one day. .
tomorrow we are going on a 4 mile hike.. and I am looking forward to that.

No, it wasn't my birthday Mon, it was my youngest DGD's. It was at a pizza place and luckily, no cake. But I survived the pizza urges so I was happy about that.

Great plan for your DS's birthday cake. That way no leftovers! And you have to celebrate anniversaries! Congrats!

well, Happy Monday.. and protein day!!!
I was up ONE pound this morning
I had expected a loss after the 4 hour hike. ... and pretty much eating very little. atkins bar for lunch... atkins shake for afternoon snack? lean beef burger. grilled.. fat.. drained... no sauce... and the thin whole wheat bread stuff... for dinner.. lettuce. apple?
maybe not enough food?
to many carbs?

well.. protein day today should help... and I will go to the gym.. even so I am sore... so.. maybe better number on the scale tomorrow.

I bet you're holding water to soothe those sore muscles from the hike. Tomorrow it'll probably be gone. For sure by the next day.

Finishing a protein day here as well. I didn't make it to the gym but I went up and down the stairs several times carrying heavy loads of clothes so I'm counting that. I'm meeting my cousin tomorrow for lunch at Applebee's. Maybe I'll get a spinach/shrimp salad hold the dressing. I'm really loving fresh squeezed lemon juice on my salads.
So I'll probably check in late here tomorrow.

good morning to you all...
No LOSS to report from the scale this morning...
I am paying for over eating and lack of portion control, at dinner last night.
wahhhhh!

I have been working out on a regular basis.. so... that should be paying off in the long run.. and maybe not in weight.. but in inches.
I have not measured... so.. I need to get back to that... at least measure ones a week.

so... breakfast today..
cottage cheese... and berries... (1P+1F)
snack.. yogurt
lunch.. tuna, lettuce.. tomato.. orange
afternoon snack... atkins bar
dinner.. grilled chicken.. lettuce.. tomato.. pear
and a late night snack... ? not sure yet.. LOL
need to make me a batch of jello

I am sore today...still from the hike on sunday.. I am sure.. LOL..

Hope you all are having a great day... and a good week so far

No more loss for me this week either. I had a nice spinach and grilled chicken salad at Applebees and had a nice visit with my cousin.

I've done very well on plan so far this week and it paid off. I'm back down to my lowest weight from last week. I hope I can hold onto that now. So that's back to an 8# loss since last Monday morning. Woowhooo!!!

I have to say the only thing I miss is my cream in my coffee.

good morning my friends!
no loss again for me to report! bummer
I guess I am still eating to much...
so.. trying to cut back some more on the xtra's... like.. CREAM in the coffee...
and I guess I am going to use my podmaker.. instead of making a big pot of coffee every morning. that should help.

so... berries and cottage cheese for breakfast
snack...ff cheese
lunch... protein shake
dinner... taco salad ( lean ground turkey) lettuce.. tomato.. avocado.. pear
afternoon snack.... HB egg

I will replace lunch with a protein shake for a few days.. and see if that helps

I guess I need to put my food into Fitday b/c after my initial big loss I seem to be stagnant. In fact I was back up 1 pound today. The only thing I can think of is maybe too many carbs from fruit and yogurt/milk/cottage cheese?? I'll try to limit those proteins a bit more and make sure my fruit servings aren't too big.

I put my food into fitday and my carbs were pretty high. How do you all keep them down low eating 2 fruits a day plus cottage cheese and milk as available protein choices? My calories are low too but I don't know if I can lose with this high of a carb count??
