What are you eating today?
One thing that I really enjoyed was seeing what other people were planning on eating that day. It helps to make a plan and you can get other ideas for food. It's also helpful to see what you're eating in writing and other's can help tweak your menu.

This is my plan for 4/21/09
B: Egg beater Omelet w/cheese, turkey sausage and a piece of bread S: Lunch meat L: Salad with grilled steak and spray on ranch dressing, green beans, tangerine S: Cheese & lunch meat D: Grilled Chicken, Salad, Brocolli, Tangerine and MAYBE a piece of dark chocolate (only 4 carbs!) |

6:30 AM Thursday Breakfast: 2 eggs – over easy on one piece of wheat toast
8:30 AM Thursday Snack One: 4 ounces low-fat cottage cheese 10:30 AM Thursday Snack Two: 1 protein bar worth 10 grams of carbs 12:30 PM Thursday Lunch: Salad, Including 2 cups of torn lettuce, 2 cups of spinach, 2 ½ ounces of cold cuts + 1 tablespoon of fat-free salad dressing +1 small orange +1 serving of sugar free jello 2:30 PM Thursday Snack Three: Hard Boiled Egg /w light salt 4:30 PM Thursday Snack Four: Peach Mango Drink 6:30 PM Thursday Dinner: 7UP Chicken /which includes ½ cup of onions as my vegetable, 2 cups torn lettuce + 1 tablespoon fat-free salad dressing + 1 small orange + 1 sugar free jello 8:30 PM Thursday Snack Five: Hard Boiled Egg /w light salt 10:30 PM Thursday Snack Six: hot creamy cocoa protein drink (if still awake) |

yummy! I had for breakfast a slice of Milton toast with laughing cow baby light swiss spreadable cheese, with sugar free fruit topping. for snack I will have a cheese stick and I don't know what else,I gotta think about it! You ladies got your menu's down great! I need to be better about meal planning!

Today is my first day on the Menu plan. Here is what its looking like:
8-Half cup yogurt with half cup of Pineapple 10- String Cheese 12-Salad with chicken breast (2 1/2 oz), carrots. I dont have fruit :/ (bad planning) 2-cottage cheese (4 0z) 4-String Cheese 6-Similar salad with carrots and a 1/2 cup pineapple So far with just this menu that leaves me with a total of 61 carbs! Is that ok I believe I was told to stay under 50. Can someone explain this to me thanks |
