Good Evening Everyone! Like some of you gals, I am on my 3rd Protein Day too! I actually like PD's because I don't have to cook or prepare much. I just use most of the LFL products. The puddings are pretty good. I pour their chocolate shakes over crushed ice and they seem to taste better. I was supposed to start my first "Metabolic Adjustment" step, but the clinic wants me to loose another pound first. I am guessing they will have me start it tomorrow or Friday.

I am so disappointed that your local clinic wont sell to you Shmootz! I have already told the gals at the clinic I go to that I wont be coming back for a while and they have been nothing but supportive. They have assured me that I can continue buying products from them and that I can come in once per week to weigh in and get some advice from them all for free. Silly me...I thought all the Lindora facilities were as nice and kind as the one I go to in Highland, CA.

I have been sitting on a plateau now for about 10 days again. Getting a little discouraged, but I feel so much better than I did before I started the program that I want to stick with it. So glad you are all out there and we can bounce things off each other. It really helps.

Have a great evening!

Nope..you're not Clare. I've put on 2 pounds once after a protein day, and had days where the weight didn't even budge. Craziness I tell you. Eventually, the scale catches up with the body. LOL

Hey Everyone-

I know this is a place for me to just vent so......Im mentally excited and seem motivated to lose this 20lbs weighing me down! BUT then the last two days I get home and fall asleep! Im so tired/lazy whatever you want to call it! I'm just having a moment right now where I feel like crying and depressed! IDK whats going on with me...I guess I'm sad cause I still weight 180 and the scale goes to 178 then back to 180 for like the last week or two. I know its my own fault cause I cheated on Sean's Birthday. This is my 4th week on LFL and I've only lost 8/10lbs on and off!! UGH frustrated right now and maybe feeling pressure cause I' running out of time! I hate that I have a sweet tooth and love food!! Im tired of being uncomfortable in all my clothes!!

Sorry ladies to be such a Debbie Downer I just need to get that off my chest!

JUNE....WE gotta do this! I cant give up! I cant give up!

4quela, I can totally relate to the up and down cycle. Just post, it will get it off your chest, thats what Im intending as well

This is my 2nd of many off and on protein days. Actually haven't been too bad, mind you I did cheat last night around supper and tonight just before supper. I stopped at our drive thru for a chocolate danish and a ice cap. Not very smart, but for me its emotional eating mainly - frustrating after work, think I deserve it . But really do I deserve the extra pounds or concern re amount I spend on my impulse eating? NO.

We all shall get rid of the extra baggage - pounds

Heres to future success!

Hang in there 4quela! I know we have all felt the same frustrations you are currently having. For me it's a daily struggle not to eat the wrong things. We all have a choice to be our own best friend or our own worst enemy so please be kind to yourself. Do the program and if you sometimes mess up then just aim to do better the next time. I know you and ALL of us can do this.

4quela, I'm glad you're feeling better today. We've all been there and back. Vent anytime you wish. We're all here for each other. (I'm glad it's Friday too. )

Is that ice cap from Tim's Dana? Another weakness for me. I know what you mean about the deserve it part. I sometimes get so frustrated that I'm doing everything by the book and the scale remains the same that I cave in. (self sabotage..??) Day by day, as Clare said we ALL can do it, and we will!!!!!

Have a great weekend everyone.

And, yes Lil the Ice Cap was from Tim's! I was down 4 lbs tho this morn tho so Im happy about that. Im on another protein day had cottage cheese for lunch. Snacked on some nuts for my protein - hope that doesnt affect to much. I just think its a healthy alternative. Ive been gulping the water today too cause its so darn hot here!

Have a great weekend everyone

Dana and 4quela, don't ever apologize for being "down". I'm glad you feel safe enough to explore your feelings with us. You know, losing this weight is such an emotional process. Each pound represents our emotional baggage that we must address if we want to remain thin (therapist, you think?) Just typing allows me to process my feelings and be honest about what I'm feeling. When you fall off, just get back on. All you have to lose is more weight. Don't give up.

Clare, thanx so much for offering! I fired a nasty email to corprate and they are informing the Regional Director from the Glendale clinic about my complaints. I CAN xerox the daily action plans from the book BUT, I love you for offering. That's so nice!

My weight is slower to come off. I'm off the three day protein and berries never tasted so good. I've been loyal to my exercise. I have 7.8 pounds to go to GOAL! Of course, monkey wrench: Ashley came down with a fever. Was up most of the night with her. I still hopped on the precor for 30 minutes and want to do another 10-15 minutes later. It's just being trapped in the house, rainy and cold outside...makes me want to EAT! But, so far I've been good and it's 1pm now. If I can make it a couple of more hours I should be ok. Ashley fell asleep in her bean bag chair and I'm BORED! Can't work out more now because I don't want to wake her. I think she has a touch of the stomach flu. I was so bored today I even cleaned the fish tank....that's desperate!

Anyways gals, keep up the good work. I feel like we are swinging the right direction. Let's just not live to eat...but eat to live.

xxox
Laura

Silly question here

The weight #'s on the profile, are they present pound losses or plan to lose that amount

eg 199/185/145

just curious

Yes, Dana. That's the signature. I love your bee! The stats are:
Beginning weight/current/goal.

BTW everyone,
Ashley has hand foot mouth disease. Yucky. But, she's been pretty good considering. I have to work all day tomorrow...kind glad. Did not get back on the precor machine cuz the doctor wanted to see Ashley....and I had a handful of Pirates Booty...that stuff is evil. Other than that, it's been a good day. My jeans are loose!

Love ya all!

Ok. Today is Sunday. I felt like I ate really well yesterday....UP 2 friggin' pounds. Kinda depressed. My husband said, at least I'm still down 1. Yes, that's true. Ate a little too much Chinese food last night...more broccoli than chicken though. I don't know. Water weight???? I'm sad.

Hey Laura....I ate the same for dinner last night too! I picked away at all the broccoli, chicken and peppers, and avoided the rice. (pms craving )There's ALOT of salt in chinese food I'm told, so not to worry...it's probably all water retention. You'll be down again in no time.

Chow for now.

Thanx Lil, funny we ate the same thing with the same cravings. Today I did so, so. At church, they had a fellowship lunch. I ate all protein but detected some sugar in some of the sauces. Tomorrow is a protein day for me anyways. I just might make it two....

Back to the gym tomorrow. Hope Ashley is back at school. Kept her home one more day....

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Can't wait to hear where you all are at!

Hey Gals, It's Monday again. (protein day for me)

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I've been struggling to keep things out of my mouth. Darn, I start off strong....and go soft end of week. (that time of the month is deadly for my sweet tooth!)

The scale hasn't budged this morning. I'm going to go ahead and blame mother nature. I hope it's down by the end of the week.
I've also been doing the Slim in 6 videos. I bought them years ago and finally put them back to use. I've almost completed week two. Maybe I'm gaining muscle?? Another excuse for no weight loss. But, I do feel ALOT better getting the regular exercise.

I hope that your little one is feeling better Laura. It's not fun when they're not well. I give my 3 year old vitamin C everyday. It seems to help fight off the colds that the daycare children bring. We've been literally mucus free almost all of the winter. I also give her chewable acidiphilous pills for children. It helps with stomach flus too. Hope that helps.

Hope you all enjoy your day.

HIYA EVERYONE
BEEN ON AGAIN OFF AGAIN.
However this is the plan for life.. It does work. I know we all get a tad lazy but it is all about planning.

This is esscential for me. I do get lax on the water. Question do we all count water in everything such as coffee, tea, protein drinks etc?

This is a positive re-inforcement for me. Thanks

pokey

Hey Pokey and ALL my LFL friends out there. Hope everyone is doing well.

Very true, this way does work especially when we give it our 100%!
We still have over two weeks left in June girls. Time for me to get the burners on! Let's keep the momentum up ladies. We can get there....and we will.

My period is here...I want sour cream and onion chips. Thought about making that onion dip to have with broccoli. God intervened and the sour cream was too old. Making steamed broccoli instead. Ashley is fussy face...now a molar is popping. I'm in all day today again....but, It's noon and Ashley's best friend, Lilly, in on her way over. That should help out! Lost a pound yesterday....now I'm only up 1 from the Chinese food fiasco.

Love, L

Hi everyone!

Well lets see, yesterday I did another protein day (was on plan except for a danish). Ya I know whats the deal. Today im on another protein day had a protein shake with chia as my protein this am as well as a wee bit of fruit. Another chocolate protein shake with some rhubarb added to it. I hope that doesnt change my outcome too much.

This morn I was down 3lbs so that I was happy with. By the way Laura dont you like the little ways God intervenes steering you away from the yucky dip!

Got to get back to work soon.

Dana

Thats funny Laura!

Lil, hopefully my metabolism will keep going despite my little episodes Ive done these cycles before and well I say its gotta stop, I especially want to lose weight prior to the cruise in August. Its gotta be doable to lose at least 20 lbs or at least close to it.

So after work I caved once again and had an ice cap I just was so tired and thirsty after work, and treated myself. Ya right treated myself to more guilt! Then I had a slice of roast beef and off to feed my mom who lives in a nursing home. Was going to stop again for another treat but alas made it home to eat some cottage cheese and hamburger as my protein. So Im good for now!

Well carry on everyone, write the good bad and ugly get it off your stomachs and do tell!

Dana

Im hoping my cell phone will restore itself cause I got it a little wet last night and its not working yet, all those #'s on there too! It has happened once before where I actually dropped it into a bucket of water so that was crazy. This time it was just a little bit from the shower so Im rather surprised. Anyways hope it starts up soon.

Have a great day!
