Has anyone here switched from Atkins?

Was anyone here Atkins first and BFL after and BFL worked better/faster for them?

I have. The first time I did Atkins it worked great, lost baby fat. Then as time went by 15-20 pounds crept back. I tried it again several times but just couldn't stomach all the meat and fat. Some days I would not eat just to keep from having more protein and salad. Then last year I found LFL. I lost 15 pounds in about a month and felt great. Then the house building and fast food came and so did the 16 pounds. I tried Atkins again recently w/o success and decided to do LFL again. It is working so far and there is more variety. The only complaint I have seen or heard is the measuring/weighing of food but realistically can we expect to lose much eating endless amounts of food? You are allowed to actually have real bread and fruit!! This plan also allows you to slowly adjust your metabolism after four weeks. Get the book or at least go to the LFL in a nut shell post for more info.

If you decide to try there are great people here and we will be supportive.

Good Luck

Yeah, I have the book and have read it a couple of times. I dont really care about the bread and fruit, isnt that weird? I just dont really crave it at all. Sometimes, maybe once a month, I will have 1/4 cup raspberries or a couple strawberries. I dont really like counting anything, so that may be a problem. Maybe I'll try it for one cycle and see how it goes....Thanks

Indigomoon - Just wanted to tell you that Atkins worked great for me the first time I tried it. I lost 35 pounds in 4 months with 3 big cheats. And I believe it would've worked for me again except I NEVER went more than 2 weeks without cheating! I bet I started and stopped it a dozen times. So far I've been on LFL 5 weeks and going strong. For me, it has been MUCH easier to stick with and the results have been fantastic - 16 pounds the first round.

Good luck!
