OMG!!! I go off to have a life with some friends for just one day and come back to a book!! I had at least 20 pages to get through. LOVED it.

The ***** just keeps getting deeper, doesn't it? You guys...ducks...are doing a great job. I lurk plenty, don't post much, but love to see this going on. I am waiting for the bomb to drop on HD. She will never know what hit her. But she WILL see it coming!LOL She just can't do anything about it.

Heidi needs to pay for ruining the health and mental stability of so many people. I have no doubt that with all of this "duck work" that she will.

Carry on, ducks!!! This is the best free entertainment that I have had in a long time.

I realize you've been away for a while, so I"m just trying to catch you up a bit.

The diet itself isn't harmless at all, and quite frankly, I doubt that anyone who followed her advice to the letter managed to reach goal without any health problems associated with it. It's starvation, and bound to cause problems long before someone ever reaches goal.

Even if they only have 5 lbs to lose, they'll still yo-yo back and forth doing her diet, reaching goal, eating more food (adding back in any food after doing her diet can cause a gain, since starvation mode and the metabolic damage it causes really do exist), then doing her diet again, losing, gaining, losing, gaining... etc. And each time they go on her starvation diet, they do more damage to their metabolism from the low calories, whether they realize it or not at the time.

Sorry, but KK does no one any good at all.

I'm glad you questioned her tactics.

The thing is, she may have picked up on the need to have a companion on the journey while she was here, but the thing is, she never went on that journey herself. She was a very false "companion".

Then once the money associated with having her own site was dangled in front of her eyes, she milked that for all it was worth. (it's up to $79.95 now -estimated that she took in over $1 million during July 2007 alone) And once someone who had paid for a lifetime membership had exhausted her "uses" (whether it's simply their money, their ability to make more money for her, or stroking her ego with their adulation), she discarded them like yesterday's newspapers, the moment they said or did anything that she didn't care for, and sometimes for nothing at all. Unfortunately for her, that's quite illegal.

I don't know if you've read the rest of the FWK threads, but she's also been involved in many other frauds and lies that we know about - the whole foster kids story was faked, not to mention that it's illegal in California to solicit funds for foster children, no matter whether they're current foster kids, previous foster kids, whether you have any currently or not. Then there was her SS disability - she was clearly capable of "earning an income" through her site, so once again, she ran afoul of the law on that.

Russian Brides, the "e-book" ... there were (and still are) so many fraudulent activities and intentional lies that enticing people to pay for her diet with her supposed weight loss, is only the tip of the iceberg.

There's sooooo much more to this than simple dishonesty.
