Tiggerr, let me say once again that I am feeling your pain. When my Mom passed away, it took me a year before I could go to bed without crying every night. Losing a mother seems to be the hardest thing we will ever go through. It's virtually impossible for anyone to say anything that will really be of any comfort. But we do care about you. Tigger - it really doesn't seem to matter whether it was expected or not. At least it didn't to me. It is devastating no matter what has been going on.

So, here, I want to clench my fingers with yours - go ahead, give a big sqeeze. I am ready for it.

I am hoping your are able to cope with it, It is very hard, isn't it? No one who has gone through it can precisely understand it.

Tigger - am very sorry to hear about mom. I feel your pain and sorrow. I know from personal experience that nothing we say and do will be the comfort you need -- however, I pray it helps some. It's been 20+ years since my mom died -- pain is still there, just muted now.

AmyB, I'm so sorry about your uncle. These times are never easy. I'm just someone on the internet, but I can really relate to your loss. I lost 3 brothers within 6 years and cannot comprehend how half of my siblings are gone. My heart is with you and your family, Hon.
