Ex Kimkin Members Chit Chat Support Thread

I thought it would be good to have a thread here for the chit chat that we keep getting into that pulls the fascination thread off topic. Let's chat about cakes and cats and whatever else we want to.

If someone bakes the cakes and ices them, I volunteer to be the official icing taster!

OOps, I'm not an ex-KKer. Doggone! I just feel like I know how y'all feel.

Work it, mama!

The bonus to low-carbing is that there are so many options for us when it comes to desserts! I know there are gluten-free bakeries out there, so the recipes definitely exist. I know I made a low-carb donut and it rocked my socks.

It can be done!

SMP...you are more than welcome here! I guess that may have been a poor choice for a title...it just seemed catchy to me...anyway...please stay and chat with us.

Me to Linda...me too!

In my little world cats are never off topic.

Ok..so here's a cute Grand daughter story to get us started. Last week my son Chris, took lil Miss Autumn to Seaworld for the day, just the two of them. She is only 3 so he had to take her into the men's room to use the potty and he had to go too. He had no choice but to take her into a stall with him. He tried to stand her kind of behind and to the side of himself but, of course she had to look around and see what he was doing as he was peeing. She asked him in her very serious 3 year old , "I want to know" voice...."Dad!...where'd you get that HOSE!?" He was trying to distract her and telling her to stand where he told her to stand and be quiet but she just kept asking, "But Dad...where's you get that hose? Why is water squirting out of your pants?"

I nearly died laughing when he told the story

That's a good one, Vickie! Alas, my kids were raised on a farm and never got to ask those kinds of embarassing questions - they had absorbed the fundamentals of anatomy, and the birds and the bees by osmosis.

I forget which thread I'm in now. Of course, I park in front of my own house and then am like, "OMG! Someone is blocking my mailbox."

Getting confused

So I came here to avoid the flak that I invite by going off topic in FWK. Now I'm really by racing back and forth. Where am I? Who gave me this lovely iced cat cake to lick? And why is there hair on my tongue? <spit, spit!>

Those darned cats!

Amy, what is the URL of her blog? People keep talking about it, but I don't know where it is, although I may be better off avoiding it.

Nope...I don't read the nonsense that she writes. I stopped reading her stuff when I realized it's all about winning some sort of a debate with her. But I can tell you Amy that I'd be more concerned if she had nice things to say about you...look at who she's loyal to...would you really want her to say nice things about YOU?

Whoo Hooo!!! Way to go Cole!

We are doing PT and looking forward to seeing if she can get better use from the finger and hand..the nerves are having some issues.
