Oops, techno-challenged here. Can't even post a pix of my rabbit, and she's a beautiful redhead in full coat. But I keep her in the shed, since she's nursing 4 babies at present. Pretty good for a 5-yr-old ever so great grandma. I love this old thing. One time I gave her a new metal toy (a can) and she picked it up and dragged it down the side of her cage, making a real din. Impressed, her kits seemed to say: "Whoa Mom! Make that fabulous noise again!" So she did! She taught every one of them to play Din Din, and they practiced late at night right till morning. <le sigh>
I just love bunnies! I wish you could post pics of Mom and her babies!

Yes, she calls it Loaded Cauliflower.

Ok now as promised earlier:

This is my funny cat, Maisie Purrl, and Kula, one of my Goldens. She loves my dogs and I think she might think she is one. She cries when they go out without her (she is indoor only) and has to have one of their liver treats when they get one.

What she is doing here is licking and cuddling his head. Of course she stopped as soon as I poked my head around the corner with the camera. I've been trying for years to catch her actually grooming him but she is too quick for me.
Awwww, look at her black eyeliner! She is gorgeous!

Good morning everyone...

Wow Christin, BEAUTIFUL cake! Darling kids too

Locarb4me...what an adorable pet photo! Isn't it frustrating how they stop what they're doing and look up at you when you try and get the picture of whatever they're doing? My cats do so many really cute and unusual things but I can't get a photo usually. Same thing with Miss Autumn...as soon as I get the camera out these days she stops and yells "Cheese" and dons the big, cheesy smile! Your Maisie is gorgeous! Her fur reminds me of my Cloe.

Here's a couple of shots of Cloe...

This one is from last summer...Cloe napping with Miss Autumn

ROFL! My granddaughter does the same thing!! I've got so many photos of her where we are trying to get her to just smile naturally, but she gets that whole "Cheeeeeeeeeeeze" thing going with the fake toothy grin.

Your Cloe is very pretty, and they do look similar. Maisie P looks just like a Maine Coon cat but much smaller. She has never weighed more than 7 lbs.

Thanks, Magicsmom and Nancy Elle, I love cats with *eyeliner*, too

FWIW, I think the brewing civil war on FWK has just been averted by the courageous actions of our newest member. Her capitulation isn't 100% as far as diet goes, but she outdid herself with a very public bridge-burning.

Terry, if I can figure out how to get my rabbit pix to here, I'll try. So far, I've messed up with 2 digital cameras; so now I'm trying a camera phone. If I remember how to save it! :-)

WHEW!!!!! I'M DONE!!!!!

I will save you all the heartache of posting pics again right now LOL

I'm worn out... and my baby boy (2yrs old) is sick He woke up yesterday from his nap w/ a 102 degree temp. Nothing else wrong with him that we can figure out... just a high fever. Fever broke about 8:30 last night... but then mid-morning today it came back. He's napping right now still, so we'll see how he is when he gets up. It's always so hard when you see your babies not feeling well...

SMP/Lowcarb4me - I know right?? I felt the ground tremble over here... I couldn't decide if it was the bridge or maybe the owner of the bridge having a caniption (sp?) fit.

It's esp hard with little guys because they can go from fine to sick, and from sick to amazingly ill in such short order, then bounce back as if it never happened. That leaves us Moms

You'd really think Heidi would know better. So many of her poster girls have ended up on the other side of the bridge that she should be scared to have REAL people up there. She never had this problem with the fake Russian brides!

Hi, Carly!!! I don't think I have talked to you on the other thread. But I just wanted to say that I am so happy you've found your way here.

And I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't see why you wouldn't be welcome.

Hi Carly (That lil waving guy smilie is my favorite i just love him!) Anyway...hi and welcome. This thread is a fun escape from the seriousness of the fascination thread...plus they don't really like photos of cats and cakes...or fart jokes there.. I'm really glad that you and Dee are here, rethinking your diet plans...

HMMMPH! Haven't got no kitties, my dog is an airborne bird catcher, my kids to the next generation iz almost all growed up, and I can't take pics worth beans. What's more, those scrumptious lookin' cakes tasted sorta like fingerprinted glass. I think I'll take my bunnies and go home! Anyway, it's bedtime. TTYL, Alligators. (And if you saw how many typing errors I had to correct, you'll agree it's past time! )

**YAWN** Mornin Sunshines....

Little one is doing better today.. low grade fever if any, and whiney as HECK!! It's like fingernails on a chalkboard... He started in and I was like ... Yep... you're feeling better!

Can someone please slap me with a big hardbound copy of DANDR? I guess doing 4 cakes in one weekend was just too much for me... for the first time since KK (been over a year! Almost 2!!) and everything that has happened over the last 72 hours... I binged last night.. On cake scraps of all things. I don't know what got into me. I was so mad at myself afterwards. And I paid for it too... woke up throughout the night with the worst stomach cramps.

DH and I discussed it this morning and he is FINALLY ready to start on a healthy eating plan himself! I've been pestering him for the last year plus to change his eating habits and he agreed last night! He want's to go more the South Beach route... and since I don't know that plan near as well (although I hear great things about it) we're going to Barnes and Nobel here in a little while to get the book. I'm gonna get us all healthy!!!

And NO MORE BINGING!!!

SMP - I love bunnies! I can't have a cat (allergic) and our dog just doesn't cuddle cause he's too big. (Although sometimes I think he thinks he's a lap dog cause he'll try to jump up in our lap and bout crushes me!) But our first pet when my DH and I got married was a bunny... They're great when the don't chew LOL we'd let him hop around our little apartment, but he found the wires and like those, so we had to keep a close eye on him... the other thing he chewed was a hole in DH's pants! LOL
