We don't get by with google "kimkins- lean meat" I know I read it somewhere.

I don't know who is baiting her nor do I know on how many websites.
You asked that like I know. If you know then you are ahead of me on that one.
I do know I am not baiting her, I don't know if you meant me, but I will say that my questions have been direct and consistent since Dee first started posting here.

But you see Tooter, this is what I am getting at. Your statement about baiting Dee or her not knowing who is friend or foe... It comes off as it is better to question others motive's and call them baiting than to question Dee's. And I imagine the friend or foe issue is not a concern that only Dee has either. Another reason I don't see the situation all that unique or different.

But I guess the mystery post is with Jimmy Hoffa somewhere and if I find the locations of either one I'll let y'all know.
I guess we just don't see things the same way.

If it is a new post then I haven't read it.
I have read Medusa's blog and she has a real concern for people with ED (not Bob dole in a boat--lol) I did feel she had a true concern for the girl...But if I were Dee, trying to figure out who is real and who wasn't and all the other stuff going on...I sure would feel like I got the raw in the deal being posted about like that before I had time to figure things out and answer. That was my point.

Again, I guess we just don't see things the same way.

LMAO We did, end up getting the squirrel out...but it was like some crazy comedy routine.

I feel for ya.
ROFLMAO Having never seen a squirrel outside of a zoo, I'd love to see that

Kat....sorry about the teaser about the lie. (not really--got some interest by one...you...LOL). Timing is everything. The lie is really not going to be that big of a deal to some, but likely will be huge to others. CB may want to check in that day. But...if I keep taking the bait....I'm gonna get BANNED. Now...I'm telling ya...I'm gonna get BANNED.
Next week on.....FWK thread #17--DEEDLYNN reveals a lie that devastates, invigorates, intoxicates and leaves some speechless. (LOL--not really, but sounded good...new career for DEEDLYNN...screenwriter for One Life to Live).

That is ok, not to see things the same way, because we aren't a "pack" like we have been labeled or like Heidi would have others believe. We are individuals with different perspectives.

That advice though is going on the premise that by exercising in the morning before meals is optimal because you are in a fat burning state due to the overnight fast. But on low carb diets like Atkins, we are in a fat burning state 24/7 so what does it matter?

Lint was there at one time. But they took lint off the acceptable food list, because the fiber was driving the carb count up and y'all know heidi doesn't allow subtraction for fiber carbs.

It's possible that I might be freaked out if I hadn't put myself on the front page of a website, but if I had agreed to be on the front page, I would certainly already have anticipated that someone would be talking about it. Remember Heidi's maxim that any publicity is good publicity.
PLUS as she said, she was aware of the controversy...

Regardless of whether she looked into the dangers and fraud, she knew about us "haters" so therefor she knew she would be putting herself in the firing line. So, to me it seems probable that she was expecting and "looking" for a response, she saw it and jumped straight in without waiting to see where it would go. Thats my take, anyway

I was wandering through the grocery store yesterday, reminiscing about the foods I used to believe were healthy for me. Pre-low carb, my cart would have contained whole grain pastas, brown and jasmine rices, several of those Asian noodle meals In a Box *gosh I loved those*, 12 grain bread (or Bob's bread mix in a bag since I have a bread machine which I used to use several times per month), organic honey and peanut butter (used to eat that a lot too!), red potatoes, bananas, apples and dried fruit/nut mixes which were my snack of choice along with those Terra chips (sweet potato my fave). When I ate salads, which I did often, they were about half croutons

Any wonder I'm insulin resistant? All in the name of good health.

Now, if it didn't previously bleat, honk, baa, moo, cackle or swim, it barely makes it to my grocery cart. I make an exception for toilet paper.
Hmm personally except the bread, dried fruit, noodles and possibly peanut butter (have you seen the crap they put in these, these days?) I don't view them as necessarily unhealthy. The problem is, we made them major staples.

Know why? as we lose weight our body doesn't need the same amount of cals to do the eact same activities. using the BMR calculator you will see we lose about 9 cals for each pound lost so right now doing the eacat same thing you started with you burn 900 cals less so it takes more effort in the gym to get the exact same burned off cals. Yes you are most likely in better shape now so you gained by increasing sppeds inclines resistance duration etc but the increase in fitness levels doesn't continue at the rapid improvement levels any more and going 1 MPH faster in the gym tomorrow then yesterday will not get you anywhere near as many cals burned as it did the first time you improved that 1MPH so as the pounds to lose become less and our training effect kicks in we have to work much harder to get the next 100 pounds off so yes the harder part of your weight loss journey is till to come which is exactly what I said
Plus the longer you restrict calories the more your body adapts, thats why I don't see the sense in going into a diet with all guns blazing (e.g. large calorie deficit and/or large amounts of exercise) when you have a long journey ahead of you. Why get a body used to 500 calories a day straight of the bat (let alone ever!) when you have say 200+ pounds to lose?

As an example and yeah I know I am always using them, but there is a lot to learn from them in regards to optimal weight loss. Bodybuilders generally give themselves 12 weeks for a weight loss phase because they are aware of our bodies adaption. Not only that, they gradually taper down their calories and gradually increase their cardio. Now they even go one step further and they mix up their calories and carbs on a daily basis in order to slow down the adaption process. People say that obese people are more protected in regards to weight loss as far as muscle is concerned and whilst that is true to a degree, when you're comparing them to already lean people... it doesn't stop their bodies from adapting. What the heck do you do when you adapt to say even 1000 calories a day and you're still 200+ pounds?

Exercise is the same thing, the fitter or stronger we get the more we adapt to the exercise we are doing and thus the less effect it has.

I'd hate to think the nutritionist may put her on the standard high carb, low fat diet
