I can understand what you are doing with your diet plan WOE. Trying to figure out a WOE is not easy.
What I wanted to know is...are you going to stay at KK, now that you know the truth about Heidi.
I know that there has been some talk about your journal etc. But that is if you get banned. Maybe I see more in you then some..but I had hoped you would now leave KK and show the ones that follow you there...that there are other ways and places.
Just my thoughts.

My next question would be.....since obviously folks are there under different screen names (at KK), then why are they not addresssing this 17 year old. Just asking...which is what I'm doing right now with everything...questioning and asking. It feels like I'm being baited, to say something that will tick Heidi off and get me banned. Just asking...not pointing fingers....not being arguementative...but wouldn't it be just as easy for someone else to do it too....It kinda feels like a sorierty initiation (not being snarky...that is how it feels.

AmyB--in answer to what will I do now. I'm still sticking with my plan to keep researching. Many threads have been linked to me today. I am trying to read through them. I am still following KK right now, but am reading ATKINS (and listening to it on CD in my car). I am waiting right now for a phone call from one of the moderators that I contacted. That moderator told me that someone else from this thread wanted my phone number to talk to me....so I gave the A-okay to give my phone numbers out. The front page is down...so me being there is not an issue. The May newsletter is out, so I'm guessing that Heidi is not going to re-do it at my request. I am still participating at the site...not nearly as much and don't want to be banned at this particular point, but it is a distinct possibility so I am getting my ducks in a row....(Did I actually say that!!!!!!!!!!!!!) OMG.
My journal is something that I was already concerned about. There are a lot of things that are important to me in that, but I am not techy enough to burn it to CD (if it can be done) so the only option that I know to do is to print it.

Medusa contacted those inside Kimmer she thought could do it without getting banned I say. since kimmer has had and still has the ability to read PMs any duck Pming that person is signing their kimkins death warrant. you and Patti could have easily Pmed her the info without worrying about getting banned as a duckmole.

Just curious why haven't you PMed the person yet? takes less time to write hey somebody ask me to give you this info and C and P the info from medussa's email then it does to write a post here and if she is a fake trap no skin off your nose and if she is real you may save her life and establish a rapor with her helping her get the help she needs since Not one kimkins poster had replied to her posts. the only trap if could be is one set by Kimmer cause she could easily delete the post and lock her out saying sorry we do not encourage folk with EDS to diet refund her $79.95 and not need to worry about it.

Dee, if someone were to start talking to the 17 year old about her diet now , then Heidi would know who the mole or moles are so i don't think that is about to happen, i think you should talk to the girl, now that you have more info. Linda

Dee, as far as why someone else hasn't reached out to this girl, I had the same question. There are obviously people who have access to the site, same as Dee. Why don't they reach out to her? They don't want to risk getting banned but expect you to? Is it because Dee is a poster girl? Just curious.

And I just read in Medusa's blog that the journal entry admitting where she had an eating disorder is 11 months old. Can anyone confirm that? Is the urgency to contact her coming from the fact that she's started posting again this month?

Dee, I understand your reluctance to get involved in anyone else's business right now. But, if this is so urgent I don't understand why someone else hasn't stepped up to the plate. You know, take one for the team. Because I agree with Dee on this one. It sure seems like this is an initiation, of sorts...if you don't do this, and you don't do it NOW, you are not one of us.

If you were going to stick to a plan that was controversial (you knew that much, didn't you?) and let someone use your story for marketing purposes, wouldn't it behoove you to do a little research? This stuff is all out there. It's not hidden. So you really didn't defend Kimkins with your eyes wide open after all, did you? Is that the attitude of other people who are sticking with Kimkins? They just haven't looked at the information that is out there? Why not?

Have not looked in here for a few weeks, it's been hectic. Just wanted to pass this quote on from another site, the author gave her permission to me to use. This was from a weight loss thread, the topic- low carb weight loss plans.

"I hate to even bump this to the top, but I wanted to add my $.02 to this. I did Kimkins for a month and 1/2 at the beginning of 2007. I will not tell you how much weight I lost because I don't want to give anyone any ideas. My typical days were 500-600 calories. Based on published notes, this is less than what the victims in concentration camps were allotted! This is encouraged by the diet's founder, with members who stall being encouraged to cut, cut, cut even further. Daily laxative use is also encouraged. This diet is simply glorified anorexia/bulimia.
Toward the end of my tenure there, I began "cheating" by sneaking bits of my children's chicken skin! Yes, I considered that a "cheat"! I became very sick, and nearly killed myself in the shower one morning because I passed out. I also became physically unable to exercise (even walking). This disaster of a diet completely wrecked my health and metabolism. I am still losing hair and am starting to have visible bald spots. I have also gained back all of the weight I lost on Kimkins, plus several of the pounds that I lost on my healthy low carb diet, despite the fact that I have largely maintained a more "normal" low carb plan since then.

Hi Everyone. I am Mal. I was banned from Kimkins when I was doing some cancer testing in January and had no clue why I couldn't get on. I was horrified when a friend sent me medusas blog that someone named shiphips said I was a mole. This woman sent out to slander me but couldn't tell if I was male/female. My point being is that I remember when DeeDlynn first came back to KK she and I were on some of the same threads, I would like her to know that it isn't about whether or not you are doing the plan or not, it is about flying under her radar and if she has you as a model means she has you in her hip pocket. She is keeping her enemies very close to her. Be careful. You are in danger of being banned or worse yet brought into her lawsuit. You might actually be called to be a hostile witness for the defense. These people here are trying to smarten you up D and you really need to listen. You might never had the effects that some others have had to endure, but someone like me that has never known about lo-carbing and being told that this is the Great Fix-All really got screwed. I have nothing to gain by telling you this and absolutly nothing to lose by telling the truth. I am glad my eyes were opened and that these women here are great allies. If indeed CB is Heidi, I've got one thing to say to you my dear. Come and find out who I am cause I am waiting at your door-step..
