When I was here in 2000 she said that she lost all her weight on Atkins. Except that she didn't eat veggies because she wanted to get the weight off fast. Then she came up with Kimkins which is supposed to be Atkins and her on Diet. Kim for Kimmer and kins for Atkins. She said she lost her weight by eating Meat, Cheese and Eggs, and if you want to lose real fast then omit the cheese and that is where her Meat and Egg diet came in, which some participate on the 3 day Meat and Egg Fast.

I'm here on my own...not fighting Heidi's battles...trying to fight Dee's battle for weight loss.
I posted what I intend to do...starting with reading here and reading Dr. ATKINS book which I am doing.
I also contacted a moderator at another site and am expecting to get to speak with that person soon.
It might interest you to know that I found CB's post with the link to the "article" so offensive, that I reported it to admin of this board.
So, no...I'm not here for the conveinence of "fake fighting" with CB or Heidi or whoever. I don't find it conveinent at all, in fact I'm disgusted with that post from CB. I found it very very disturbing.
The one thing I have done from minute one out here is stand my ground (or tried too). I'm pretty much a call it as I see it person...whether it's myself (I've admitted when I was wrong), a duck, CB or Heidi...

I realize many have answered you by now or commented in some way. I want to put out my two cents for what it is worth. I am willing to give Dee the benefit of the doubt. I did email her my questions back when she asked us to. I can understand her being overwhelmed with all the questions and trying to keep up. If I had been in her place, I would have felt attacked even if that were not the intention. Dee very graciously answered my email, there was no hint of snarkiness or meanness in her answers. That doesn't mean we were/are in agreement. I had meant to post this back last week when it was all going on, but got distracted and then we started a new thread...and well, yada, yada, yada.
Anyway, sorry Dee for not standing up for you back there. I do really appreciated your (and others) change in demeanor and willingness to try to see it from both perspective.
I can see that it is easy to be suspicious (that's what drives this forum), but to many of you, you were in the same position as Dee, I am glad to see people are willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

"Trust but verify" might be a good motto to have.


By the time I post this who knows how far the discussion has gone. (I'm a slow typer )

I'm not sure on the timeline here...But it was early 2000 and something.

Oh, she HAD claimed to do atkins before and lost the weight. She also claimed water fasting...etc.

She did an experiment (remember that) Her weight was up and she claimed she couldn't lose it again on Atkins (Playing on people who claimed the same thing) She was going to do an experiment and she even showed her fitday to anyone who wanted to see.

She was in the middle of a divorce and having custody problems...Do you remember this? She claimed to have gained all the weight from the ABUSE of her soon to be ex-husband and the truama he put her through.

This was her miracle. She got rid of the fat, had extremely low calories. People went nuts (who knew better) and for others, it was their last hope!
The entire time she was an obese woman sitting behind a computer and the "experiment" was on everyone else.

You sound like me. I had ignored or really didn't pay alot of attention to her. I was polite and just did my own thing...but I DO remember all of this.

Frankly, I really didn't have much to do with her. I thought, "To each his own". People had told me about her website and My thoughts were "Good for her". I had no real clue about her diet.

When the WW article came out, I bought it. I thought it would be neat to read about someone we knew on here and how they "Made good".

THAT's what opened my eyes. OMG, That's not a picture of Kimmer and that's not even her real name (She didn't use Heidi Diaz, she used Kim Drake).
If she is lying about THOSE things, what else is she lying about??!!?

Did I tell ya to fasten your seatbelt? She is not Kim Drake. She is Heidi diaz (just to make sure you are clear on that) She used the name "Kim Drake" in the WW article.

If you read the entire fascination threads (I know it would take forever) but there are these kinds of things CONSTANTLY being brought up to you and it shocks ya.

Dee, the other thing in the article (if you pull it out) is that the reporter acts like she is interviewing her in person. I think at one point in the article, they said that "Kim drake smiles"! The socalled "Interview" was done over the phone.

Oh, Dee...There are so many things like this that we "Ducks" have proved, over and over and over again.

The excuse for this was that she suffered from panic attacks and couldn't meet people in person. That was also her excuse for not meeting Christin.

Her excuse for the Fake Name? She was a private person.

If you truly want to have no doubts...All these little things and proof is in the fascination threads.

There are too many lies to remember them all...to post them for you right now. But, we proved they were lies over and over and over again.

Heck, just look at the picture of Kim Drake and ANY real picture of Kimmer.

The pic of Kim Drake was another Russian bride. You would have thought she would have at least used the same fake Model.

Oh I know y'all saw it in real life and your jaws hit the floor but when the PI video of her dated july 19 07 and having heard her interview less then a month before saying she weighed 118 pounds still was a real WOW moment for me since my issues had been ab9out the safety of the diet not her the person.
