Even the leanest cut is 30% fat by calories, 90% lean isn't 10% fat
Choose cuts labeled “round”, “tenderloin”, “flank” or “London broil”
Trim all visible fat before cooking

Game

Venison, bear, elk, bison, ostrich and buffalo are excellent lean protein choices!
Cook by any low fat method listed above

Soy

Tofu, tempeh, textured soy products, Gardenburger & Boca products

PLEASE NOTE: I ate what was on this list and trimmed all visible fat before cooking. It does not matter to me what the Mayo Clinic or USDA state what is considered to be a lean protein. I chose a diet, printed the list, ate the foods on the list and did not Ask Kimmer for help because I lost each and every week eating the above lean proteins including the beef listed above.


That is my point and I am done with this topic.

Why do you insist on discounting the personal advice that Heidi dished out to so many people, CB? I know that stance might make for good court testimony or when you are deposed, but it sure isn't getting you very far in getting others to see your POV. It rather sounds like you are saying because you flew solo in Kimmerland, that anyone who asked for and received individual care and guidance from the founder of this diet were somehow negligent if they followed that advice. Is that what you are saying, CB?

It's all a little TOO convenient to think that those two would come here and go at each other.

Mayberry....your not right there. I know that I will likely be banned from KK because of my stance (or I guess continued participation out here). AmyB probably knows me best and I'm guessing that she wouldn't think that.
I'm here on my own...not fighting Heidi's battles...trying to fight Dee's battle for weight loss.
I posted what I intend to do...starting with reading here and reading Dr. ATKINS book which I am doing.
I also contacted a moderator at another site and am expecting to get to speak with that person soon.
It might interest you to know that I found CB's post with the link to the "article" so offensive, that I reported it to admin of this board.
So, no...I'm not here for the conveinence of "fake fighting" with CB or Heidi or whoever. I don't find it conveinent at all, in fact I'm disgusted with that post from CB. I found it very very disturbing.
The one thing I have done from minute one out here is stand my ground (or tried too). I'm pretty much a call it as I see it person...whether it's myself (I've admitted when I was wrong), a duck, CB or Heidi...

Okay, Dee. Thanks for your response. I'll take you at your word for now. It's not YOU I'm suspicious of, really. It's Heidi. Can you blame me?

If Heidi had EVER lost weight, but fell off the wagon and regained it, I wouldn't condemn her for that. Heck, we've all been there! I certainly have. But, it's her constant lies, manipulations, and personal attacks on people who disagree with her that make me question anything and everything she says.

Listen, Heidi has conned some pretty amazing people in all this, and I sincerely hope for your sake that you are beginning to see the light.

Dee, I'm not sure CB is Heidi, but I do know they share a common IP. Consider that CB could also be one of the admins over there. So many of them have or are sock puppets it gets difficult to connect all the dots.

I'm sorry that you are having to learn what these folks are really like. It isn't easy to learn that what you have believed has been a lie all along.

Please know that as you walk through all this mess there are many people here willing to walk with you. AmyB is a great person to have next to your side.

Hope this isn't too off topic but since we are discussing Curves, I have a question. I was a member a few years ago and when we moved there isn't one close by so I had to resign and I am not up to date on their policies. I was able to use a visitors pass at other centers when I went on vacation from my then home of Malta, Idaho but I had to be a member at a home Curves.

I am thinking about moving out of the States to Tver, Russia because a newly married friend of mine told me how beautiful the region is. Sadly, there is no Curves there. There are some in Alaska but I think I will have to swim across the Bering Sea to get there.

When I come to the States to vacation in Southern California how can I get a guest pass?

Well, Jo, it's actually pretty simple. You just show them a picture of the Curves in Russia and assure them that you are a member. The should let you right in!!

and Mayberry...I don't have a problem with EARNING peoples trust. I just wanted to point out the differences between myself and possibly others that have come out acting like they're someone their not for whatever their purpose is. I do think that some have come out in "hiding" just to try to see what was going on and not be noticed. Other's obviously have a more devious (sp) intention. Nothing devious (sp) here....just a girl from HICKTOWN, OHio standing in all the collaterol damage and wondering....WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED HERE? LOL. Thanks, Dee

So you guys are saying that Kimmer never lost any weight while she was on LC Friends? What was her purpose of being there. I saw her in LC Friends many times in 2003, and this is before she started her site for weight loss. I really hate to think that all of us that was around at that time was so naive.

anybody who does go to the CB blog site be sure to run your spyware and look ofr tracking cookie too. Also don't go directly to any website nor come from any website you do not want CB et al to know about cause their are counters for blogs that will do just that.

Oh and know that as of last night commnets that didn't agrree with CB's position were not being posted on the site so say your energy and write your reply on your blog. I'm sure not getting the hits from folk wanting to defend friends, address the hateful info, etc will make CB et al unhappy as did not getting any responses about that page that violated TOS of CB's host on CB's old blog which was removed.
