There is no such thing as too "extreme" with KK. Even eating nothing isn't "too extreme" for Kimmer.

ITA! We've heard a lot about how Kimmer doesn't roll, but this IS the way she rolls!

Hey, where DID I put my "Hammer" pants?

Just wondering, how many of you knew my "legal" name? (the name only my mother calls me, and the name on my paypal account... NOT the one I use on a daily basis!) just wondering after taking a detour over to CB's "blog".

Okay...I hope this is on topic...it is about the diets. And this is where I have been getting all my information. I'm trying to read just about induction right now in the ATKINS book (I will read the entire book--but right now I want to see the induction part). Can someone explain whether or not in induction you subtract the fiber from the carbs to get a net carb count for your 20 carbs/day? Any 411 or tips you have on induction are appreciated. If you don't wanna fill this thread with it, please email me or something. Thanks, Dee

If I remember correctly, 2002 dandr lets you sub fiber and SAs if you want - altho many people, myself included, don't buy the SA part. Fiber, at least, seems to have a minimal affect on blood sugar and is a healthy and necessary part of a diet, so no harm in subtracting. I'm sure others will jump in if I've misquoted.

I knew it. I don't think I would have used it though. It's odd that CB chose to use it, isn't it.

Awakened is Deni, formerly a "success" story from KK. One of the few real ones, I might add.

Crispybread is Heidi.

Heidi hates Deni for actually losing weight, and getting out from under her thumb.

That's the Reader's Digest condensed version!

Hi Dee

I don't post here much... I just lurk. But, I am Deni, like they said... and I am ashamed to say I was one of the "front page" girls and in the Women's World Magazine last summer.

Everyone that knows me, knows me as Deni.. except for my closest friends. When Crispybread/ Kimmer posted the link to that so called blog, I found it odd that she had me labeled in the side as "Denesia Huttula"... because as a "key player" in the kimkins saga.. no one would ever google "Denesia Huttula". Deni Huttula yes... but Denesia is my legal name only... and even in my artistic world (see signature link)... I never put my last name on with Denesia... so I found it as another telling tidbit of a "slipup" on Heidi's part because only she would use the name she used for my W2.

I'm frankly tired of her games... they are getting really old.

And Dee... I usually give most people the benefit of the doubt over if they are who they say they are or not... but CrispyBread/Kimmer has been proven thru IP addresses and other things for awhile now... it's almost funny how she keeps pretending that we don't know who she is. But then again.. it's actually kinda sad, because its the same way she will still refer to her foster kids... when they don't exist.

Deni--thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I liked the Reader's Digest version. It's nice to know the rest as well, since I'm out here taking it all in right now. Thanks again! Dee.

Okay, now I'm starting to worry. Crispybread promised to be back after a good Curves workout. Assuming that's true then why hasn't she returned??

Could she have drowned trying to swim from Malta to Italy for her workout?

Perhaps she met someone at the dock - a man of the sea - and is too busy to bother with us.

Possibly, she is out tending the sick, as the tech guys for her website seem to have THE most fragile health in the world. Those poor babies!

Maybe, just maybe she's scouting locations in Las Vegas for the Kimkins summer meet and greet?

Inquiring minds would just LOVE to know. Heidi! I enjoyed your little visit this morning. Please call again!

Wow, you guys are busy! I have been avidly reading this thread for a month now, and finally finished. To let you know about me -- I teach school and recently have been put in charge of a new computer program where the kids do everything on the computer, so I get to sit in a dark classroom for 2 hours a day "supervising" and playing on the internet. I have always been interested in different diet plans, and when looking something else up I saw the name "kimkins" and wondered what that weird name could mean so I clicked on it. It was the about.com story and after that I started googling everything else because it was such a weird and fascinating story. No one I know has heard of it either, and are amazed when I tell them about it. (Although they break into guffaws and accuse me of making it up the minute I utter the words "magic chicken diet"!)

I would like to answer a couple of questions that the "regulars" seem to have from time to time.

1. Coming in knowing almost nothing, with 2 hours a day to fool around, it has taken me about 5 weeks to get through everything. I was skipping about every 5 pages, although sometimes I had to turn back ("Tippytoes said what?") or got distracted by other blogs that were posted here, etc.

2. Other than the actual kimkins website, someone who knows nothing about this plan and googles it will find nothing positive about it, so you all have accomplished that goal. (Which is why that thing "crispybread" posted today is a fake; further proof is the author's use of the word "haters", which is pretty unique to this situation and not something who wasn't well versed in the vocabulary would just happen to use, IMO)

3. I sympathize with all of you who fell for it, because even though everything I read about it was negative and dangerous, and I am not a "low carber", there was still a little devil whispering in my ear, "It works fast, you don't have to lose THAT much, just do it for a few weeks," etc. Don't worry, though, I am not going to listen. But the lure of qu
