I was just noticing that all the comments are the ones from 2006 and 2007.
Nothing 2008 there. And if that is a new page she needs new programmers. Last edited by tiggerr : 04-27-2008 at 01:19 PM. |

SMP, I answered you on my blog, but will do it here again. I am not criticizing anyone and everyone who posts anonymously. It is the ones who tell us that we're wasting our time, should let the courts decide, get a life, ........... those are the ones I think should stand up and identify themselves. I actually have a dear friend who posts anonymously simply because she doesn't have a profile with blogger and doesn't want one. I understand her reasons, your reasons, or the reasons of anyone who has a comment to make. The ones who come in to lob bombs as "anonymous" or under fake personas are the ones I have an issue with, even if I understand their motives too.

O/T- I know this isn't exactly on topic, but I just blogged about the food drive called, Stamp out Hunger- Since we know that many of us are trying to get back into the lowcarb WOE after kimkins, with its very low calorie eating, I thought this would be a good way to clean out the pantry and help others.
![]() Here is a portion from my blog that tells a bit about it. Stamp out Hunger Food Drive, that is taking place nationwide on Saturday, May 10th, 2008. This food drive is done in conjunction with the US postal carriers, hence the reference to the “stamp”. It is easy to participate and it helps a good cause- hunger. You simply package up your nonperishable food items and your mailman will pick them up to deliver them to a local food bank. That simple. |

OTOH, I'm reasonably sure that almost any blog owner has ways and means of identifying the commentors, hidden or overt, since a small program running simultaneously reveals their email addresses. (Saw it myself - scared me silly till I realized that any bot crawling the web has grabbed me a million times already, as witness my tons of spam. )

I'm working on it. I made egg custard to have that around. It helps me eat breakfast (which is my biggest problem). If I have foods I like already prepared, I'll eat with my morning coffee. Also, I made some flax bread today. I like having that around - to die for with cream cheese on it. So, I'm chugging more water, as I was surprisingly dehydrated, and working on eating earlier in the day. I see her again in two weeks, so hopefully there will be some improvement in the meantime. She thinks that I'll start losing weight steadily if I get the calories up. With its current composition, my body needs 1700 calories to function. I was not eating anywhere near that much.

I only said I agreed with a post and then how I do not understand the reasoning for using anonymous when someone is known by another screen name. You are not the only one this applies too, I am sure. My post was about anonymous in general not about you. So you may have outed yourself. ![]() I have not read the comments or situation at Magic's blog that she referenced, but I do feel as I said about anonymous comments. Quote:

I think shakes, like you mentioned trying the other day...I think it was you...it is a good way to go too. Especially, with the in-season goodies if you do berries. The strawberries here are to die for! I haven't done the flax bread but I think I could about eat cardboard if it had cream cheese on it, so I can't go wrong with trying things to spread it on. ![]() Please let me know what she said or how it is going because it sounds like we are in the same boat in trying to still get back on track after KK. |

HoneyBee, I make that flax bread with banana flavored DaVinci's and banana extract (if I have it). Put walnuts in it, and it makes a really good substitute for banana nut bread. It's wonderful with cream cheese or butter on it. Heavenly!
I can't say that KK is completely to blame for my habit of not eating enough. I had those tendencies before I "met" Kimmer, but it explains why I liked what she had to say. It reinforced what I had been doing for weight loss ever since I was 15. I'm sure I've messed up my metabolism but good! |

Oh my, that flax bread sounds yummy! Please pm me the recipe if you have it handy or give us a linky dink if you found it here. Flax bread just took on a whole new meaning for me now. I love banana nut bread.

) and hopefully not get signed out of one of my blog in the meanwhile.Basically it's such a pain that I just give up and use anonymous most of the time, and then I'm usually so frustrated by having gone through that whole process that I completely forget to sign any of my known screen names (I have about 3 of them - but I express the same views with all 3, and my writing style is most likely very recognizable anyway, so I didn't figure it was that big of a deal - until now), and don't want to go through the whole mess again just to leave another message saying who left the other comment.

While watching an old episode of the Soparano's on A&E last night (10:00 PM EST), Artie made a reference to "Martina Martini" - Martina being a hostess he had just fired for stealing credit card numbers and selling them to one of Tony's guys that she was having an affair with. Tony's guy was in the restaurant with his wife, and Artie was asking him if he wanted a Martina Martini, basically trying to out him in front of his wife.

OT but I want to brag on myself....just a tiny bit.
For the first time since I started LC'ing I went to a mexican restaurant yesterday. I LOVE salsa (if it's hot enough to make your nose run ) Anyway, since I'm LC'ing, I wasn't starving when I got there, and so it wasn't too hard to pass up the chips. I ordered chicken fajitas and promptly sent the tortillas back when they arrived. I also asked for a spoon so that I could eat some salsa along with my chicken, onions and peppers. It was DELICIOUS! It's the salsa I love, not the chips!
