I got an email in my junk mail with a subject line saying that Jimmy's forum was back up again, but never got one asking me to re-register... unless perhaps hotmail wouldn't let it through to begin with because of the virus in it.

ETA: I didn't even try to open it, thinking this might be the one with the virus. But then realized that hotmail would have removed it if there was a virus. Or maybe just removed the virus and left the rest of the email intact? I don't know how this works, I only know I don't get viruses simply because all my email addresses are web based (hotmail, gmail, yahoo, grafitti)

I guess that unless you are the FBI or the President, you will never know who hacked his site...too bad, people like that should get caught.

The last e-mail I got from Jimmy's site was one wishing me a happy birthday back in January. Hopefully, I WON'T get the virus-laden one.

Mayberry, not to but in, but looking at the timings of the post you made showing your "disapproval" of Sam's joke, and Justme's post saying it was funny.. it's entirely possible that she was in the process of posting her reply at the same time as you were and didn't see what you said.

That being said.. I honestly don't know either Sam or Justme at all... and who knows you could be right.. but I have found lately that miscommunication and misunderstandings get in the way of effective conversation more often than not.

anyway.. just my2cents.

I actually found the comment funny as well, but only because of an inside joke at my house right now. My dd took a 30 minute shower last week (not unusual) but it was during a time when I told her we needed to leave in 10 minutes.. so... when we were late getting to where we were going, my son came up with the line that "it was all her fault 'cause she took a 30 minute shower". He then , for the rest of the day was found saying the same line about ANYTHING that went wrong. (long line at the store? It was all Her fault.... get all the red lights? It was all Her fault. etc etc.) It became a joke in our house that my poor dd has just learned to roll her eyes and ignore b/c she knows we're teasing.. but anyway.. that is why I also thought blaming it all on Heidi was kinda worthy of a chuckle.

You're probably right about the post. However, there is more to this whole thing than meets the eye. I'm not usually so touchy. Just bear with me folks. I'm doing my best NOT to disrupt things here and post things I've learned about people from other places. I'm going to be good and behave myself... and ya'll know how hard that is for me!!

I tried to log on a few times and got the 404 error. I have been busy, so I just thought the site was down for maintenance until I read about what is going on today.

I logged on yesterday (I think it was yesterday, they all run together anymore

) when the threads had all been changed to drug stuff. I logged right back out but I was on there for a few seconds.

FWIW...I am a registered member over at Jimmy's site, but was never a member at Kimkins, nor have I ever been on any of her mailing lists.
I never posted on Jimmy's forum, but I got that email, nevertheless~

Shoot, I am so dizzy, twisted, and~ frought with a wee bit of paranoia, skepticism, and angst~ from all that has happened recently (and not so recently), that I don't know if what I just wrote makes any sense or any difference at all!

People, I have a MA in English, and at present, I can't even get my thoughts straight about all of this fodder.....

Heidi Diaz et al (and all that that implys) continues to both repulse and amaze me.....

Oh, so what I got *was* the virus email after all!

I've never been a member of KK, and don't use the same name as I do here on Jimmy's forum.

Also, I haven't posted over there in ages. I did overshoot LCF on my forum list and clicked on his forum the other day by accident. I just brought up his forum again, and got the site not found error, so I"ll have to check when his site finally comes back up to see if I'm set to automatically log in or not.

I'm subscribed to your blog and when I read the topic I had to respond. Good theory but I got my email before I logged on. Hadn't been there for days/weeks. It ended up in the spam folder. Other email programs might just have dumped them.
