Can someone clue me to what a lazy sine is for Cleo's oopsie rolls?

This is what a sine wave looks like. So when Cleo says "lazy sine", she means move your spoon/spatula back and forth slowly across the bowl while moving down the length of the bowl of egg whites. This just keeps you from over-mixing the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites, which would cause the stiff egg whites to break down too much and result in very flat oopsies.

Personally, I fold by using a tiny spatula/spoon and slowly pulling the stuff at the bottom of the bowl up to the top, since I find the lazy sine tends to allow too much yolk mixture to end up on the bottom and never get mixed in, resulting in flat oopsies - but this is just my personal preference. Anyone who is not familiar with folding ingredients into stiff egg whites might do better with the Lazy sine method.

MrsM even if it was a sock the answer is now availible as more information for any person searching for info on the effects of Kimkins and Kimmer which is the big picture bloggers are trying to make.

Just Keep being the polite person posting information and don't allow them to turn any of us into a kimmer type of poster with any of their trickery. Yes we are all mad Swalt pretended to be somebody else but that doesn't mean we need to flavor our replies with that anger since somebody googling kimkins and finding the page might not know about SWALT and KIMMER and this would be their first exposure to it.

Looks like the charlies are doing their posting on the blog comments since the admins here are on to them.

I took your poll. I was just having a conversation with my doctor's wife about this yesterday. She's a nurse practitioner who specializes in nutrition. She and I were talking about when my anorexic tendencies started, and how I have never been able to break out of the mindset that to lose weight, I need to cut my food consumption - drastically. People who have seen my Fitday during my KK days were shocked, and not in a good way. It's going to be a difficult transition to realize that I need to feed the muscle and it's o.k. to eat a lot more than I'm accustomed to.

AmyB...read you latest post lastnight and I also get very mad at these people who cannot come and comment using their login names and have to hide who they are. If ya got something to say....say it! Bad enough we have the login's to hide behind but at least we know who said what along the way.

I see SL and he sockpuppets or whomever (Heidi?) are cutting and pasting comments from here and blog to try to use in court against the plaintiffs, funny...hard to protest the truth! Good luck!

Sorry for not explaining the sine wave. I'm a bit of a geek, so I'm thinking of things which are totally making sense to me! I need to stop doing that. I love the graphics! They're hot.

If there is yolk which doesn't get worked in, I make six piles on the tray of solid, and if there is any liquid left, I gently make wells in the middle of the solid and treat the liquid like gravy, spooning it into the middle of each. The solid holds any liquid in place.

about Cleo's folding method it is backwards of the cooking show methods. Alton Brown just folded egg whites into a souffel yesterday and started like Julia child does adding 1/4 of the white mixture to the yolks and stirring it in to lighten the yolk chesse mix. then take 1/3 of the remaining whites and fold them gentley about 8 folds into the yolk mix then take 1/2 the remaining whites and fold them in gentley and finally add the remaining whites and fold them in. you get a mix fluffy mixture with no liquid on the bottom but you need to use if quickly so it doesn't sperate.

I've wondered the same thing about these anonymous Heidi supporters that hide behind fake names and such. Why? If they're SOOOOO sure of what they're saying, why are they afraid to stand up and be counted? It's amazing the amount of mind-control Heidi wields over some people. Sometimes I get so angry at these people who defend Heidi in the face of overwhelming evidence that she's a fraud, she's mean and she enjoys hurting people. But, more often than not, I feel sorry for them. Maybe pity is a better word. For some unknown reason, people like Swalt and SL are standing up for Heidi. Heidi certainly isn't going to return the favor.

But, when I say I pity these people, it doesn't in any way mean I think they should not be culpable for helping Kimmer/Heidi continue her lies. Nope. They're making quite an uncomfortable bed to have to sleep in.

I'm trying to be very careful where my daughter is concerned when it comes to all this. I don't want to pass on any of the negative stuff I was subjected to. Every time my mother was on a diet she'd put me on it with her. I can't even recall the first time I dieted but I know I was young. It's weird because when I was younger and not overweight, I still saw myself as fat and it always affected my self-esteem. Now I'm an old broad with.. uh, lets just say "broadened horizons" and I have more self-esteem than I ever remember having. Most of it isn't based on my body anymore. I don't know how that came about but I truly wish I'd felt this way when I was younger, too.

EXACTLY!!! If you have something to say and you're confident about it, let the world know who you are and stand behind your words. Hiding behind a persona (like a cartoon character ) just makes you look like a chicken s*** coward. It's easy to lob bombs on someone's blog when you don't tell them who you are. It takes character to stand behind your words. Isn't it interesting that it's the ducks who are who they are and the others hide behind fake identifiers? No wonder we think they are all Hidey. That's her style through and through.

They all are under the false assumption that they will not be held accountable too. Just wait until John does the depo on all the admins--they're in for a very rude awakening....

Oh yeah, Bama! SL and Gary and whoever ARE in for a rude awakening. I guess people like them who don't seem to care who they hurt cannot begin to understand what motivates the people here or people like John Tiedt. NO ONE is going to get rich off of this. Kimmer has made the statement that the Ducks are just looking for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. She would it see it that way, wouldn't she? She cannot fathom just helping someone for the sake of doing so. Same thing with John. I think he understands that this case is worth more in publicity for him than actual dollars. But, I truly believe he is motivated to do this because he's helping right a wrong. Sure everyone likes to make money. But that is SO not what all this is about. And, that lack of understanding, that total lack of caring is what got Kimmer and her ilk into this mess and it will be their undoing. I have NO doubt about it.

Isn't this ridiculous? That's why Tippy jumped ship and told SL to do the same thing cuz John was out to get them, too. "Aiding and abetting" a scam artist is against the law. I'm sure John has lots of evidence, too.
