Sure... how let's see how many calories that is she'll be using every day from her fat stores:

5.25 lbs per day
x3500 calories
18,375 calories per day! From her own bodyfat stores!

Wow, Amazing! You can actually use 9 times your BMR every single day, just by going on a diet coke fast!

Only if she were in a car accident and her rear bumper fell off! Oops, sorry, I feel a sugar-fueled craze coming on. Please ignore that snarky comment.

Whoopsie, I mean *lose* 9 times your BMR every single day, simply by going on a diet coke fast.

Don't mind me, my brain is just fuzzy from the antihistamines!

But do you think if she actually mixed MOM, epsom salts, ExLax, Smooth Move with diet Coke and enough Capt'n for a kick that might do the trick?

What should we call that one....

So... what does everyone think? Can Hidey possibly reach her goal by her birthday?

And if she does, what bride site will she steal the after photos from?

Beauty Tips from "Ask Kimmer" Emphasis Mine

"Ask Kimmer" wisdom.........

There's three things to consider about excess skin ... age, sun damage and stretch marks.

Age: At 40+ there's going to be sagging 'somewhere' no matter what.

Sun Damage: Soccer moms and sun bunnnies might be surprised when they lose considerable weight. Their collagen is damaged (sagging) and the puffiness (body fat) that was keeping the skin taut, is gone.

Stretch Marks: Whether old or new, it's emergency skin our bodies make due to very rapid weight gain, whether extra fat, pregnancy or weight lifting (competitive type).

I had stretch marks on my bosom due to "early development" at 12 plus 2 pregnancies. Stretch marks on my tummy due to 2 pregnancies and more marks on my inner thighs due to "whatever".
Those areas had serious sagging and when I reached goal my HMO paid for a mastoplexy (lift) and tummy tuck. My thighs are not in model condition, never will be (that skin isn't going away), but I'm perfectly OK with it. I prefer wearing dresses & skirts which work perfectly with my body.

If sagging is a concern, consider the 3 factors above. If skin has enough elasticity (young, no stretch marks), it will come back. If not, then no.

I fast one weekend a month and have since I was 24-25 years old. I start on Friday around 4 pm until Sunday around 4 pm. I do it for cleansing and detox, but more importantly it's a treat to myself. I relax, endulge in home spa treatments, catch up on reading or quiet projects or watch a favorite movie (I love B & W classics like Double Indemnity and Mildred Pierce).

Protein shouldn't be any harder on kidneys or liver after a fast, assuming that the person had good function to begin with. Protein is more challenging for the filtering the kidneys do, but that's true no matter what. I think relatively few people actually do get blood work before beginning weight loss plans and wouldn't know if they are causing harm.

When I break my fasts, I usually start with a small raw veggie salad, later maybe veggie soup, and a small veggie platter for breakfast. Theoretically you're supposed to "break" half as long as you fasted, but I play it by ear.

And at age 48-49, you still expected everyone to believe that you were the lady in the red dress??!

Sun Damage: Soccer moms and sun bunnnies might be surprised when they lose considerable weight. Their collagen is damaged (sagging) and the puffiness (body fat) that was keeping the skin taut, is gone.
What exactly would Hidey know about losing considerable weight, with or without sun damage or lack of bodyfat keeping skin taut?

Stretch Marks: Whether old or new, it's emergency skin our bodies make due to very rapid weight gain, whether extra fat, pregnancy or weight lifting (competitive type).
Or lifting too many sugar cookies and Cap'n.

If there's an HMO in existence that will pay for "sagging skin removal" without a clear cut medical reason, I'd love to know which one it is.

Yeah, those thighs are never going to be in model condition,... And where are your dresses and skirts, Hidey? Every photo we've seen shows you in stretch pants!

Oh undoubtedly!

But what I love is reading between the lines:

Now that's telling. Two movies about greed and adultery and one of them starring "Mommy Dearest"
