That long, eh?? I always thought Melt was a profane alter ego of Heidi, cutting loose after a session with the Cap'n, and getting even with her "hecklers." So what do I know?

Kaly,

Thank you. It was tempting to be as mean and nasty to her as she was to me, but I DON'T want to be anything like that woman!

SMP,

I thought Melt might be Heidi as well until Truth confirmed her real identity several months ago. At the time I was embroiled with Melt, I wasn't really confronting Heidi openly, just encouraging others to eat a bit more. If I had really realized everything about Heidi-kins at the time, I probably would've gotten banned for telling Melt exactly what I thought of her. Alas, I had to wait to go to banned camp after using an alternate image of Lesya as my avatar.

That Melt certainly sounded like an alter ego of Hidey's - quite disturbing to think that there is actually someone out there so close in personality to her!

I never thought to make a melt using ranch dressing instead of the mayo. Just really good flavors.

Felt like I was scraping around for things to put together - like stone soup.

I knew I'd seen that scene before... how appropriate!

I like to use caesar dressing for tuna salad... I'm a real nut for caesar dressing.

But really, necessity is often the mother of invention.

Except in the case of Cleo's oopsie rolls - then and oops is the mother of a great invention!

Your melt sandwich sounds wonderful!

After all the talk of that former Kimkins member, I don't think I could eat anything called a "melt sandwich" for a while.

MissM! Do you serve martinis on Sunday? I'd like a cosmopolitan, please!

Yep, no "melt" for me, either; in any shape, form or fashion.....

I will, however, partake of a martini. How about ice cold Stoli Vanilla and fresh lime? (It's a Key Lime Pie if you add hazlenut liquer, but that's too much 'sugah" for me......)

Oh, heck, come over and I'll make 'tinis for everyone.

The hubs is enthralled with some sporting event right now, and I'm quite restless!

Evening everyone!!!

What a beautiful day it was. The grillin and chillin turned out hunky dory. I'm stuffed to the gills.

Hey Miss Merz---I can't do alcohol so I'm buying a round for the house---I'll stick with my coffee---just put it on my tab....

Madam---love your Daffy---he's my fav duck--- next to the one I see in the mirror..

I wonder if will get any "company" tonight---since we didn't see anyone on Friday night......it's a full moon and everything....think we need to put out some snacks.....

I don't know if I can do cookies tonight. I just had the most delicious pepper steak that I made up, no rice of course, and I'm FULL.

Also did a 2.5 mile walk today with the 16 year old niece. She's a cutie..just like her aunt!

Pepper steak sounds good - We had kielbassa, with buttered green beans, and mashed cauliflower (lots of cream cheese and butter). Very satisfying!

We think there are plenty of melt sandwiches going around the Bay area, no martini necessary.

You know... I've never had a martini.

Does that mean I can't have a melt sandwich?

Or do I need to learn to drink martinis?

I had my first martini a couple of years ago - a sour apple one. Oh my it was wonderful, but I don't even want to think about how much sugar was in it.
