Other quotes from Cartman she could try:
  • I'm not fat, I have a different life choice.
  • I'm not fat, I'm big boned.
  • I'm not fat, I just haven't grown into my body yet you skinny *****.
  • I can't lose weight, Butters, because I'm not fat, I'm big-boned. You can't slim down bones, stupid!
  • [Playing street hockey] Kyle: Shut up Cartman! Your body is bigger than the goal!
Cartman: No, I just have a sweet hockey body.
  • I'm not fat, I'm festively plump
  • I'm not fat, My Mom says I'm fluffy

Wow, Cutie...you have your hands full, I feel for you. I was a caretaker for my family for a long time (so glad it is over now, lol...my brothers are on their own!). Just be sure to find some time for yourself as you will need it. Pop in when you can...we will keep your legacy alive though....lol (with or without you...).

Hiya MrsM! Kudos on being added to the fatosphere blogroll. Your blog looks great and love the informational link you put on there about children's nutritional needs.

[OT] Did you watch the show where the guys are trying their hand at being paparazzi in order to get pics of Britney Spears to sell? Oh my goddess
it was funny![/OT]

I read the posts about TT - About how the camp is now Heather and Brian's due to insurance cost? Any updates from that situation?

Then SamRedman has a copy of the KK site on his blog and he has some virus on there?
What is up with that? Anyone know why, how or WTH?

I think it was established in here that Sam Redman's page had no virus. He *says* he backed up the front page of KK (which is easy to do) to research it. Probably writing some book so he can profit off this whole mess.

I think I may have seen all of them...so many are just hilarious but one of my favorites is where Cartman wants to figure out who his dad is but can't because he was conceived on the night of the "Drunken Barn Dance" and his Mom doesn't know. It makes him regress and have tea parties with stuffed animals in the back yard. (Polly Prissy Pants is one of them...reminds me of sock puppet parties!!!) Kyle and Stan enter a videotape they made of Cartman called "Little Boy's Tea Party" in the weekly contest held by America’s Stupidest Home Videos.

Off Topic, but I think my favorite was the World of Warcraft one.

Went to the doctor today...

Slightly Off Topic

I gained 43 pounds since the last time I saw him in November (which was a shock to me since I threw out my scale a while back) and my blood sugar was abnormal. He said five syllables: pre-diabetes .

I am in a tailspin. What do I do?

ETA: How in the blue blazes do you gain 43 pounds and not know it? I thought maybe 10, but 43? 43?!

Jeanessa, I am so sorry. I'm sure some the very knowledgeable folks here can help you. Maybe Heidi should listen to the answers you get.

If you want inspiration, read Taubes.

Also chapter 5 of Barry Groves book is about the ideal diet for diabetics, and should give you some quick guidelines. (Low carb, high fat)

Sorry to hear that Jeanessa.

I would also suggest "Good Calories Bad Calories". That keeps me on the straight and narrow.

You can take it off again. Just have to keep those insulin levels and blood sugar levels low. Stay LOW on those carbs and make sure you are getting plenty of good fats.

Jeanessa

You are going through so much right now, and I'm sure that's contributed to your gain. Stress eating gets just about everyone. Don't beat yourself up! You have a great opportunity now to just start over. Cutie's right. Get an Atkins book or Protein Power or the Glycemic Load book and follow the plan. All are healthy, doctor approved regimines that will take off the weight you've gained. I know it's discouraging! But, we're all pulling for you and we know you CAN do it.

I've never seen anyone in my life as determined as you are! You've just been so busy lately that you haven't had time for yourself. Make the time. Do whatever plan you select. Do it for you and your health.

I second this, and believe Atkins or Protein Power would both be excellent choices to follow. Either one will bring your blood sugar down to normal levels very quickly, while keeping your tummy satisfied and helping you shed any excess weight. They'll also help you have a lot more energy (once you get past any induction flu), to cope with all the things you're dealing with right now.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I have tried Atkins by the book, but Induction Flu gets me every time.

I will try again, though, I have a little more incentive, hmm? I'll let y'all know how it goes.

I ranted in my blog, too, by the way, you oughta have a looksee before I recover my senses and delete those posts.

You might also go to the library and have a look see at Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution and Dr. Atkins Diabetes Revolution. Two excellent resources for both the diabetic and pre-diabetic.
