Hey everybody! Great news about the court case! Guess Heidi feels like she's been hit by a tornado!

I'm good, so far! We were delayed by a warning getting out of school. You haven't lived until you've been in a real tornado drill with a long hall-way full of sweaty 6th graders who think it's all a big joke...and one or two drama queens who tried to hyperventilate. I could have handed out a couple of Oscars!

So, I'm good for now. Thanks for checking in on me! Everyone stay safe!!

Oh, and MissMerize, I'm thinking it's 5 o'clock somewhere, so I could use that martini, now, okay??????

Oh my, Rebel, I'm so sorry to hear that. How tragic for that family.

Reb-

I'm back... Me and the doggie and kitty got our blankets and pillows and went to downstairs windowless bathroom & it didn't last long.

Mayberry's area got it a lot worse than we did. The storms split up went north and south of us and we got high winds and a "gully washer" of a rain storm. We are still under tornado watch until 9:00pm though.

I am so sorry about your "neighbor". I just was watching the video feed from southern TN about 40 miles from me and several people were injured when the wind ripped the whole roof clean off of their house. So sad..

Hacker Alert
from Christin's blog

It has been brought to my attention that a second round of emails was sent out by the hacker with another virus attached. As a reminder please do not open or click on any link sent from a "no-reply" address from Low Carb Discussion. Jimmy will be back in town at the beginning of next week. In the interim time, his admin is working diligently to repair the damage done and the latest update is that the hacker's IP has thus far been traced back near the Los Angeles area in California.

Well, how about that?????

Personally I wouldn't try to visit Jimmy's forum right now, they could put something on that page to exploit your browser... wait until Jimmy says it is okay on his blog

It is tragic, but I'm really surprised that they even lived. It just smashed their car. It came down on them from behind.

My brother and husband are volunteer firemen, so they were there for hours removing the tree. They had wreckers, the rescue squad, you name it -- everyone in town came out to help. All this in the middle of swirling black clouds, wind, thunder, lightning, and torrential rains.

If she's a fraud and a lawsuit is going on, why is this individual allowed to still collect monies from people via memberships and clothing sales via her kimkins website? I just looked at the website and she is among the others with finally a 'true' picture and weight stat posted.

I really don't know what to think of this Nut job.
Hi Dee!

No - she has never actually posted a TRUE picture EVER. And even the ones she is posting now on the front page have been photoshopped.

She's a gas! She can't tell truth from reality. She is a sociopath. She built a persona [along with multiple sock puppets], which allows her to post from a pedestal to scorn other people on her diet [one which she NEVER did herself].

The Private Investigator's photos show a morbidly obese woman ( who is giving dieting advice to people???? ]

Oh man, it is so ridiculous!

OMG! That is so sad to hear. I live in a small town also, so I know how it impacts when someone who is a "neighbor" has problems and health issues. I'm so sorry for him.

Oh thank you all so much for your prayers and wonderful encouragement. I even had my husband read all the responses and it brought a smile to his face. I know he has a soft spot in his heart for all of you. In fact if I haven't been on in a long time - he will bring up this forum to read what's going on with everyone.

He is feeling better and the pain has subsided a lot today.

Now back to the subject ..... I have got to get caught up on the legal aspect ..... Heidi not producing the documents that John and the court requested.

Sure hope she doesn't get the idea of a suspicious fire in her home .... Wonder what her 2007 tax return looks like. I don't think she can deduct attorney fees ... Hmmm - maybe John should request a copy of the return.

Rebel,

That story from your town reminds me of one here were a local college beauty queen's car was struck by a huge limb that broke off a tree during an ice storm. She very nearly didn't survive and had to re-learn to walk, lost her hearing, and numerous other very serious things. She finally made a decent recovery, but she will never be quite the same. It's unfortunate, but I guess we all need reminders sometimes to be grateful to have two good arms and two good legs and not be overwhelmed by a little extra poundage.
