I just tried to go over there, and still get the error message saying it's down due to a hack, but expects to be back up in 24 hours, same as I got yesterday.

Yeah, his blog said that he wouldn't be back until next week - the implication was that it would take until then to try figure out what to do to fix it - or start another forum instead.

I just checked my hotmail account, including the junk folder, and there were no new emails purportedly from him, for what it's worth.

I banned myself from Heidi's site. I think she is saying that I bragged about banning myself at Kimkins when I began posting at Jimmy's site. Sorry for the confusion. It actually confused me at first. I thought she was saying I banned myself from Jimmy's site.

This was the post I made on every thread when I left Kimkins:

I will be leaving Kimkins as an admin and as a participant. I will miss so many of you! You have been wonderful. I just can't continue to support something that I have doubts about. And ti's not just about the founder (although that is part of it). It is about the diet itself. I don't think it is safe. I think it could cause irreparable harm. It is along the lines of anorexia, in my opinion. And I will admit that I have a form of an ed, I am a binge and emotional eater. But does it really make sense to swap one for the other? I don't think so. And I think that is what I would be doing.

I, like many of you, thought I had found the thing that would save my life. I thought I would finally be skinny. I didn't care what people said about Kimmer or the site. I honestly thought they were mean and jealous. Well, I have come to the conclusion that it was the exact opposite. They are caring and want to stop people from hurting themselves. They are not a bunch of fat people sitting around who are jealous of other's weight loss.

I just can't overlook all the so-called pictures of Kimmer. And I'll admit that my avi is a stock photo. But I have never claimed it was me, and I think it is obvious that it is not. But if I had created a diet, I wouldn't be hiding.

Anyway, please do research on starvation mode. Yes, Kimmer, it does exist. Please research vitamin defficiency and VLCDs.

I also want to say that I will miss the admins. I really, truly believe they are doing what they think is right. I think most, if not all, of them really care about helping the members. That's what I wanted to do. I am sure they will all hate me now, and I'm sorry for that.

The final straw came this morning when I realied the Private Forums had been deletedm and after reading posts on the e-book. I think it was an attempt to cover her you-know-what, because some members were promised an e-book. And she didn't even bother to send it out to the people who weren't promised it when they signed up (like me).

I could go on and on, but I am sure most of you have heard it before.

Please don't be blind. Please don't write that this diet has worked for you, so nothing else matters. It does matter. You have to think about your long-term health and well-being. Even Kimmer admits her thyroid is trashed. Why do you think that is? My guess is it has to do with constant yo-yo dieting. And if the founder of the diet can't maintain her weight loss then we don't have much hope. I know some of you will be successful and keep it off, I just hope you return to a healthy woe.

BarbaraB - The way I understand it, someone is sending out emails saying that Jimmy's site is back online. He has been contacted and that is not true. If you receive any email from his site that says no-reply, do not open it.

Jimmy won't be back up until NEXT week... even though "someone" is still sending out emails that it is back with a link to the nasty virus.

The wording of the email sounds vaguely familiar using kwords that I have kheard befork.
