Yep my forum was hacked because the previous owners had stopped updating the software, before the hack there were what appeared to be several bots creating accounts. When we were hacked the first time we got everything back but the owners still didn't upgrade so a week later another hacking group
came and deleted everything just leaving a splash page with their group name and logo etc
Luckily I had the old web admin whom no longer worked for them log in and restore some of the forum from a corrupted backup but we lost most of it.

Jeanessa once the board has been hacked I would think a hacker would then go in and finish the job. The reason for the logging into different admin/mod accounts would be them looking for the one with the most permissions.

I received an e-card but it didn't say from blue mountain.

"Someone sent you an e-greetings!" - It was in the spam folder anyway. I deleted it. I was surprised to get it. Then again I wonder because I recently joined camp??

Thank goodness for dynamic dns at work! No trojans or worms have been placed on my computer here. I do comment on Jimmy's blogs occasionally but I've never bought anything via his site.

The e-greeting card virus e-mail started some time ago and has nothing to do with Jimmy or Heidi.

May I pontificate? Thank you. THIS is why the ducks cannot rest until this woman is put out of business! In the past and in the present she demonstrates an incredible chutzpah for shameless self-promotion even though she knows, and now we know she hasn't accomplished squat! She has tasted of some riches, and she will not give up trying to scam more people out of their money until the law steps in and stops her. THIS is why the ducks must continue. If we fall asleep at the switch, she'll earn another cool million that she gets to keep.

Drakette ran across this interesting tidbit from a Kimmer blog post. Drakettes comments are in red. Btw - this is Kimmer talking about Kevin Trudeau. Unbelieveable!!

For awhile the huckster even promoted the Atkins diet as the best diet he'd ever used. Looking us straight in the eye, promising how dramatically his health improved, persuading us to pick up the phone and use our credit card! For a long time Kimmer persuaded many to buy into Kimkins by promising with fake pics and tesitimonials how thin they had gotten

Well, until the Atkins folks stopped paying him. Well until the ducks caught her. Then his memory failed as he made statements that the Atkins diet was a scam and unhealthy (at this point he was pushing another diet on late night TV). Her memory failed her shortly after on the benefits of eating only 300 calories and day and drinking epsom salt to force bowel movements

Well, if anyone should know scams, it's Kevin Trudeau. If anyone should know scams it's Heidi Diaz, queen of the sugar cookie and stretch pants

His latest book, Natural Cures: What "They" Don't Want You to Know About, claims to reveal amazing health secrets that "they" (the government) don't want citizens to know about. Oh come on! Yes, come on Heidi what is so secret about losing weight through starvation, people in Africa do it EVERYDAY On the other hand, maybe Trudeau is telling the truth because he also claims to be a former undercover agent. Uh, OK.Didn't you claim to be a foster parent and volunteer to the blind?

With Trudeau's earnest plea that we're missing something absolutely vital if we don't buy his book, no doubt many will. Sound familiar? Ten days, ten reasons $79.95

Please keep in mind that Natural Cures is self-published (translation - no reputable publishing house would touch it). Kimkins never published anywhere except on her own site (not reputable) with no medical oversight or verifiable proof that the plan works and is safe. And this man has been convicted of fraud multiple times. Yet, even with this mountain of "don't do it!" evidence, people will still buy the book. And sadly people still sign up for Kimkins

This post brings up an important point - if Trudeau can keep getting away with this stuff, even after going to prison, what's to stop Heidi? The only way to keep as many people safe from her as possible is to keep up the information war. Deni pointed out the other day there are people who DO NOT know what Kimmer is all about. Hard to believe, but it's true.

There is still much work to be done!
