my response in blue....
Another Kimkins SAT Essay/Mathematics Question Base your answer on this "what are you eating for breakfast?" post from Kimmer today "I'm sipping a 100 calorie EAS shake now and I'll be making a 1 egg + 1 egg white veggie & ricotta omelette around 10 am (it's 6:30 am right now)." A diet guru has been back on plan for approximately 21 weeks. She claims to have been at 317 pounds when she started. She states in her journal that she "lost 23 pounds" in the first two weeks. 19 weeks have since elapsed and she claims to be at 258 lbs. Questions: 1. What is her weekly average for pounds lost and is this in line with her own claims that her diet will accomplish? well to see my work you need to come look inside my head but for all weeks the average is 3.1 pounds. remove the first 2 weeks and it is 1.89 pounds per week didn't she claim a pound a day? agree!!! she could actually be eating and lose that much Oh and as an added bonus Cleo is down 61 pounds in 11 weeks on Atkins for a cool 5.5 pounds a week and her weigh ins are done at TOPS in front of real witnesses. WTG!!! CLEO!!! and she eats great and still losing..... 2. If she is eating like the above post states and she indeed "wants it bad enough" why aren't the losses reflective of it? because that is just the breakfast menu silly and no beverages are shown ![]() ![]() she ain't eating like that---that's why Heidi will have her excuses ready that's for sure---her thyroid is shot, her diabetes, all this stress...... 3. Given these statistics what is your estimate of the percentage of the population will still swallow the hook and join the program? Well according to PT Barnum there is a sucker born every minute and if all those suckers are over weight, and if all are looking for a diet ,and all those suckers have access to a means to send her the ask for money and if those suckers can find the kimkins.con site ( another reason to remove any backlinks on anybody's site) ........ well ![]() ![]() as long as women AND men buy into the nonsense that they are nothing unless they are thin, someone will still join regardless of the controversy 4. Bonus question: Why does the diet expert not feel the need to post her measurements in the challenge threads she posts in when all other members of challenges do so? she can't add that many big numbers together and keep it straight each time how many imaginary photoshopped inches she took off. SHE AIN'T LOSING NOTHING THAT'S WHY!!! Feel free to add facts and opinions and please show your work.

Also everytime somebody says they are going to make reservations, Heidi will say something like I'll wait until closer to time...the prices will be better etc... There was also talk of making sure the reservations were with a credit card so they could be refundable. Easy outs...ain't gonna happen |

it is hard to accept food is a drug for many of us ( yep many foods contain pharmocological properties just like drugs do), but once you do then you can take steps you need to to keep that drug from being your primary means of treating your emotional hurts and that is when you will start winning the body fat battle. So post away and let that anger, and hurt you got out here in a very safe manner.

They are trying to decide on T-shirt logos. Most of the gals wanted a big flashy logo front and back. Heidi squashed those ideas and wanted something small (read unnoticeable) in the upper corner of a shirt. I thought she was soooo proud of her plan? If it's so great and it works and all these people to include herself are so dang happy and healthy, she should want everyone to know...shouldn't she? ![]() |

Wanted to pop in and share a quick, delicous recipe I just made up for beef soup.
The following makes two hearty servings 1 can of Hormel Roast beef 1.5 - 2 cups water or beef broth a splash or three of red wine (merlot, my fav) (optional) 1 T of butter or olive oil 4-5 oz of frozen whole baby green beans small onion, chopped 1/4 cup shredded carrots minced or powdered garlic to taste Saute the onion in butter/oil until it starts to brown. Toss in the roast beef, water or broth, wine, garlic and green beans. Simmer over medium heat until the green beans get tender-crisp. This should take about 5-6 minutes. Add the shredded carrots, simmer another minute and serve. Per serving its 215 cal, 8.5g fat, 8g carbs or 6g net carbs and 26 g protein. The wine gives it a rich, complex flavor! Think I can call this "Magic Beef Soup"? Oh, and please send me $69.95 for the recipe. This entitles you to a lifetime usage license, but you may not share it with anyone else! ![]()

![]() Can I get canned roast beef from Costco? Do I get support from the soup guru for that price? Will you post a picture of you and the soup? Have you ever made this soup before or are you just using someone else's recipe that you found on the internet? Last edited by jo2621 : 04-03-2008 at 11:58 AM. |

A loss is a loss. It depends on the corporate structure. If they set everything up so that the income or loss for the businesses passes through their personal return, the loss from one would offset the profit from the other on their personal return. If they didn't set it up that way, there's a whole double taxation thing that goes on, but having a second corporation is a way to get income from a company with the double taxation problem into a corporation that doesn't. It's a pretty common thing...well, it is for the guy I work for. He likes things as complicated as possible. At one time he had about 20 different corporations. Right now, I think he's down to about 7. ![]() Lou |

I am way behind so maybe this has already been mentioned - sorry. I heard back from Amazon and got exactly the same response they gave before. I clicked that I was not satisfied with that answer and wrote to them again.
