Free Indeed.

Kimmer stated she was mistrustful of anyone at KK with a duck avatar because of the Ducky blog which exposed some of the crud behind the crud over there. After that, most of the anti-KK crowd started using duck avatars just to poke fun at her.

mrsg, MS is an autoimmune condition (like you didn't know that!) and I'm no stranger. I have alopecia, hypothyroidism and eczema. If a person develops one condition, they typically develop additional. Our family on my mother's side is an assortment of autoimmunities including type 1 diabetes, alopecia, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. At one point my doctors tested me for MS due to sudden loss of muscle control after my last baby (I couldn't walk 5 feet and twice suddenly dropped my newborn, that was scary).

Oh, we're talking about you! Sorry ... I digress.

Dr Diaz is in the building....

she's real good about bringing it back around to her isn't she...

but this part made me crack up...

I have alopecia, hypothyroidism and eczema.

seeing her admit this after all that garbage about her "skin regimen" yadayadayada when she was taking compliments on the red dress pic....

it just burns me up----

everything about her made up persona "Kimmer" included all the things she hates about herself---

Dr Diaz

Heidi is such an expert on medical conditions. Especially her own. If her diet is so good why is she a walking cornucopia of medical ills?

Look at this and find the flaws.

two recent posts from KK:

MS is an autoimmune condition (like you didn't know that!) and I'm no stranger. I have alopecia, hypothyroidism and eczema. If a person develops one condition, they typically develop additional. Our family on my mother's side is an assortment of autoimmunities including type 1 diabetes, alopecia, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. Ouch! I had a sciatica type situation for years. No fun! Talk about incapacitating. Follow your doctor's orders and don't push yourself. You'll be back on track before you know it!

Now here's some good old quotes right off of LCF:

I have never felt faint, although when I was younger I would have the dizzy feeling when standing up and my doctor chalked it up to low blood pressure. My BP has been low since forever (80/44 when I was 16 and pregnant).

I was diagnosed hypothyroid at age 16 (so tired I literally couldn't get out of bed). Nothing else discovered, began Armour thyroid.

I was injured during childbirth (a great story when I need my son to take out the trash!) and lost very well with the old Atkins plan.

I have MVP too, so do my brother and sister (no chance they'd ever fast!) We have our 'valve' situations plus several autoimmune conditions, which I'm guessing are a family thing?

I have 3 autoimmune conditions, my mother had 3, my brother had 2. All of us are/were anemic. Autoimmune conditions run in families, and usually a person will develop more than 1.

Funny you should ask. Eczema and psoriasis are two of the autoimmune conditions helped by water fasting, although the "magic" doesn't happen until you're close to goal ... before that your body feeds off it's fat stores. My dry skin (not psoriasis) gets oilier around day 5-6 and can include some annoying adult acne as "housecleaning" gets done.

Even for T3 conversion, I don't know if i have a problem. My doctor thinks the high dosage is because of substantial alcohol use for 7-8 years (congested liver). I didn't know you could even take a T-3 supplement. My thyroid thing is an autoimmune condition and several people in my family, including my mom, have other AI diseases (type 1 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, alopecia, lupus). I just figured that since my blood work is finally kinda sorta normal and I feel good that it was fine?

Funny how she has all the answers~ if anyone wants the truth why water fasting helps eczema (and you don't have to wait until you're near goal or water fast) ask me~ been there, done that so I really do know!

paging Dr Diaz

Flaws I see right off

1. "I have eczema".

Remember the "I relied on Retin A for 15 years" post? Who prescribed Retin A with eczema? Dr Mark?

2. Pregnancy @ 16. Then "I was diagnosed hypothyroid at age 16. So tired I literally couldn't get out of bed".

She wasn't THAT tired......

3." Eczema and psoriasis are two of the autoimmune conditions helped by water fasting, although the "magic" doesn't happen until you're close to goal ... before that your body feeds off it's fat stores"

Physician heal thy self!!! There's that MAGIC word again.

OK Now I'm Really Ticked

It makes my blood boil to see that Heidi is so flippantly tossing around mis-information about autoimmune diseases. Water fasting for autoimmune diseases -- give me a break. She doesn't have a clue. I HAVE had MS for the past 20 years, so I do know what I'm talking about. Fortunately, I'm in a very good place, disease-wise right now and feeling better than I have in the past 10 years.

Thank you all for the prayers for Macey. It is a very terrifying time right now. She has been through so much. I am hoping against hope that the biopsy they are performing this afternoon will show infection and not a relapse of cancer. She is only 8 years old.
