My nose is perfectly clean. Except the stuff that people (including an abusive ex) can find out scares the crap out of me. I'm unlisted. Always have been. There's a reason for that. I've never been arrested and never thought any of my information was public. If someone here decided that I was a "threat" or I needed "investigating," my google factor would increase 10 fold after my information got posted here by an enthusiastic Duck. What happens if I turned out not to be a threat? That doesn't change the fact that everything that people turned up on me is now here and everywhere else that picked it up, wrapped up in pretty bow, waiting for the stalking ex to find. Thanks. You don't find that scary? I do.

To be fair, this is something that's bothered me since thread 1, and I've made no secret of it. I've seen that there has been a remarkable improvement in what personal information is put out there. I really hope nobody starts thinking the way you do. It's not always that black and white. Even with your squeaky clean nose, would you want everything that anyone could dig up on you posted here? I doubt it.

Wild...thanks so much for mentioning my blog! I'm honored to have my blog mentioned here among the mighty ducks!

Bama..I'm so sorry and shocked to "hear" of all the complications you're having from WLS. I had no idea that it can cause such terrible things.

Amy, I always read your blog too! I love the way you express yourself. I'm doing well with "Let's Do Lunch." It's not low carb but it really seems to be helping me to overcome the crazy, almost panicked craving feelings I've been having since I stopped doing KK. Honestly, it almost makes me cry to type this, but the cravings and out of control binging I've experienced since I stopped doing KK have been downright scary.

{{{Amy}}} I'm so glad to see that you are finally out of KK, and healing from your experience there. I have prayed for you as I watched your struggle over the past few months.

I think you may have taken my comment a little different that I meant it~ I agree, it's scary what is out there! But every day, I see innocently posted personal info that could lead a stalker right to a lot of people's front door. Pictures of themselves, their kids, their cars, names of their kids, pets, ~ the info people post about themselves and their life is sometimes! And that's just here, on this board!

By *keep your nose clean* I don't mean just public records that you can't stop from being available on the Internet, I also mean any info~ no matter how innocent it seems or how friendly that person reading it appears.

And if I sound cynical~ well, remember back when everyone thought that pretty woman in the lawn chair was Heidi? And how many Googles have we done with the search word 'Kimmer' and tracked her through the cyberworld and read the boards she's posted on~

Maybe I should have used a different term~ cover your ass?

You are most certainly welcome, Vickie.

I see you have another post up this morning:

Vickie's Voice: Size 14 Jeans

Thank you so much for sharing!

Folks, be sure to stop by Vickie's blog to read the entire post, but here is a brief excerpt:

My health is improving every day since I stopped doing Kimkins. Yes, I fell for the scam. But Heidi Diaz didn't win. She doesn't have the last say in all of this. My journey for a slimmer healthier life will continue and if justice is served, her life will continue in jail.

So this morning as I pull on my size 14 jeans to go to work, I will be grateful. I will be thankful for lessons learned, and I will feel joy as I pull those jeans up over my hips!

Better to reply later than never! You girls have been busy.

My mama is doing very well right now. Much more stable. I think we were in and out of the ER three times last week, which was a trip. My mom is a hilarious drama queen, too (she always has been), so she kept the doctors on their toes.

She gives them funny names and then calls them that to their face...her oncologist is "Shiny" because he's got a sparkly bald head and her regular physician is "Amaretto" because his skin is that color and her fibromylagia guy is "the Pedestrian" because we saw him walking to work. You can only imagine their faces the first time she calls them this, add to that her booming voice (she is loud) and the dirty looks she gives the nurses whenever she gets poked and prodded and you know that a trip to the doctor's office with my mama is a memorable experience.

She's an unforgettable woman!

But she's doing well right now, thank you for asking. And I am in good spirits this week as well.

It's Friday - Who wants to have some fun??

The idea of a book or movie based on this whole Kimmer saga has been discussed before, but we haven't gotten too far into casting ideas. So, I'll share my ideas of who should play the parts and hope that you'll share yours.

Kimmer -
Kathy Bates or Rosie O'Donnell. Both can play evil and I see them being willing to wear a skull cap for such a juicy part.

Singing Lass -
Patrika Darbo or Kathy Kinney. Patrika has been in lots of things, was/is on a soap for years and can really play a snark. You may remember her from a Seinfeld ep where George got Elaine to flirt with his boss in a bar so that he could slip something into his drink. She was the red-headed co-worker that got snippy with Elaine. And, of course, Kathy Kinney was the deviously evil Mimi on the Drew Carey Show.

TT -
Holly Hunter. She just has a Jeannie-like quality to her work.

Jeanessa -
Ticia Campbell or Queen Latifah. Both have plenty of character and attitude, just like our bud Jeanessa!

Gary -
Jimmy Hoffa or Marvo the Magnificent.
Both of these guys are experts at disappearing. Take your pick!

Oh, and Amyb would be played by Kim Raver (Third Watch, 24) or possibly Jennie Garth (a little less blonde version)
